“We know.” Ansel’s eyes darken. “The FBI is dealing with him, too. But right now, we’re getting you to a hospital.”

“I’m fine.” The most overused phrase in my vocabulary.

“Remy, we’re going to the hospital.” Enzo’s voice leaves no room for argument.

“Okay,” I whisper.

Enzo lifts me. I let my head fall against his shoulder as we exit.

CHAPTER 24

Remy

The hospital discharge papers crinkle in my hands as Ansel helps me into the waiting SUV. Twenty-four hours of observation, a CT scan, X-rays, and enough questions from doctors and FBI agents to last a lifetime. Despite everything, the doctors gave me a clean bill of health. I just have some minor bruises and soreness that will heal quickly.

My parents left an hour ago after a tearful goodbye. Mom couldn’t stop hugging me, and Dad’s eyes were red-rimmed when he finally released my hand. Sadie and my best friend, Jess, came by earlier, bringing flowers and gossip about Damon’s arrest spreading through the tech community. According to them, everyone’s in shock that he’d stoop so low.

I don’t care about Damon anymore. The FBI has records, communications, everything. He and Trent’s entire network are in custody. It’s over.

Within moments of being brought to the front of the hospital in a wheelchair, Joshua pulls up.

Enzo and Ansel slide in beside me while Breck takes one of the captain’s seats.

Enzo takes my hand. “Ready to go home?”

“More than ready.” I lean into Enzo’s warmth. “No more hospitals. No more statements. No more looking over my shoulder.”

“Never again.” Ansel’s eyes meet mine as he takes my hand. “We’re not letting you out of our sight.”

The drive home feels different. Lighter. Like I can finally breathe without waiting for something terrible to happen.

At the penthouse, they guide me to the couch, and Breck brings me coffee without asking if I want it. Ansel sits beside me, his hand finding mine. Enzo settles on my other side.

Ansel squeezes my hand. “We need to talk.”

My stomach tightens. “That sounds ominous.”

Breck laughs and moves to sit on the coffee table in front of us, his knees almost touching mine. “It’s the opposite of ominous.”

Enzo shifts closer, his shoulder pressing against mine. “We’ve been talking. The three of us. About what happens next.”

“And we’re all in agreement.” Ansel lifts my hand to his lips. “We want you with us. Always. Not just dating, not just seeing where things go. We want to build a life with you, Remy.”

My breath catches.

“We want you to move in here permanently,” Breck continues.

“You’re ours.” Enzo’s fingers trace my jaw. “And we want to spend every morning, every day, and every night with you.”

“And we’re yours.” Ansel’s voice is absolute certainty. “That’s not changing. Ever.”

Warmth floods through me, and tears prick my eyes. “I want that, too. All of it.”

“Good.” Breck smiles. “Because we’re not accepting any other answer.”

And my heart swells for these three men who have changed my life for the better.

“Show me.” The words come out breathless. “Show me what it means to be yours.”
