“If Rosalina fighting, then yes we are and you’ll be mad but I’ll fix that attitude later. Where she at?” Kateri was dead ass.

“My baby mama ain’t fighting no one.”I responded.

“Cairo, you promised not to tell him.” Lina whined, confirming my suspicion.

“Nigga, you knew?” He shrugged. I wasn’t even mad. Lina was his sister and Cairo big on loyalty.

“Oh my goodness. You’re having a baby too? I’m so happy for you.” Kateri hugged her.

“Just so you know, I’ll get you something expensive for the baby shower but you on your own after that. Wait! What do you get someone who has everything?”

“Relax Kateri. Rosalina is only a day pregnant.” Lina smacked Cairo on the arm.

“Get what you need so we can go. Somethings going on and I wanna get to the bottom of it before GI Jane gets hurt.”Cairo joked about Kateri ready to fight.

“The only thing hurting me is in between your legs and…” He wrapped his arm around her neck and covered her mouth. Kateri and Lina thought it was funny.

Instead of going back in the store, it was best to leave. I had no clue who the woman in the store was and Nicole bugged out too. In my eyes, either they’re working together or they both had a death wish.

“How didyou get in my home?” The older woman questioned me sitting on her couch. Looking at her, I guessed her to be at least fifty or sixty.

She had on what I’m assuming was her Sunday’s best because the hat was a dead giveaway. Those brown stockings with the white shoes gave off her being a church usher. The thick Bible in one hand and huge purse in the other let me know she’s one of those older ladies who wanted to be taken serious in church.

Most likely walked around searching for people chewing gum, telling them to be quiet while the pastor is preaching and give those nasty ass pieces of church candy no one wanted. I don’t know why they took away the peppermints because most of those churchgoers needed them.

“It ain’t shit on television these days and why don’t you have Netflix or Amazon prime?” Tossing the remote on the coffee table, I stood and stretched.

“Watch your mouth young man. It is the Lord’s Day.” She tried to chastise me.

“Didn’t you just return from sucking the pastors dick?” I had to laugh at her gasping.

“I mean, his wife did pass a few months ago and he’s been lonely. Instead of giving in tithes, you substituted it for head so your church bill wouldn’t increase.”

“Your mouth is filthy and I would never fornicate with the pastor. Get out of my house.” She slammed her things down.

“Now why you throwing the Bible on the table? That’s bad luck and God is watching down on you.” Cairo came from the kitchen wearing his black apron, along with the black gloves, goggles and helmet. I don’t even know what he had that for.

“Who are you?”

“Come here.” Cairo gestured with his finger for the woman to follow while I went in her purse to get what was needed.

“Oh my Gawdddd!” She yelled. Making my way to where they were after getting the keys, I laughed because Cairo threw boiling hot water on her.She was soaked and blowing her skin to cool off.

“Please go.” She cried as Cairo poured more of the hot water on her.

“Where is your son?” William and Gina, who was the chick from the mall and the one Lina beat up, were paid to cause problems in Lina’s relationship.

William was the one who printed those fake photos of me being married, as well as putting a small bomb under Lina’s car. No one knew but me and Cairo thanks to security checking. It was the reason Gina was left at the hospital unattended. We had to make sure no one else’s vehicles were touched and figure out how the person did it.

“Don’t worry about my son. He’s ok and I would never tell you where he was.” Lifting the keys from her purse, I smiled. They were to his apartment. Gina gave us a lot of information before she died.

“You don’t have to. Your daughter here.” I stopped talking when Cairo took her head out the oven to show her.

“Dear God!” She started her fake praying.

“She should’ve thought about God before sending someone after my sister. Since she didn’t, everything that’s about to happen now is because of her.” Cairo turned on the blowtorch and burned both of her legs. Not too bad to send her into shock though.

“One last time. Where is William or I’m going to let my brother kill you and burn down that church you and the pastor been committing sins in.” She started to sing like a canary.I couldn’t believe she was more worried about the church and pastor instead of her own son.
