Raul pressed the button for the basement in which we had a key for thanks to management. There’s nothing people wouldn’t do for the right price and over here, that wasn’t much.
“It seems that you have a hand problem.” Pulling the blunt from my ear and lighting it, the doors opened and a few of my men were awaiting Ed’s arrival.
“Huh? I didn’t hit anyone. Did Rosalina tell you that? No, she couldn’t have because I’d never hit her.” Tossing my head back laughing at him lying to save his life, I removed the machete from Felix’s hand and swung. There was no need to waste time on getting rid of Ed.
“Damnnn, how you get both hands at once?” Raul jumped when Ed’s hands hit the floor. Handing the machete to Felix, I stared in Ed’s face. Not only did I want to be the last person he saw, but he needed to know I was very aware of all his secrets. It didn’t take long at all because in my eyes he wasn’t even hiding them.
“After you put your hands on Rosalina, I made sure the woman you brought over here to disrespect my sister drowned. Your two secret kids with her met their fate as well in a car crash with your father and well, your mother was damn near dead anyway; she died from suffocation. Did you know a pillow can suffocate a person fast depending on the strength of who was doing it?” Ed couldn’t say much due to losing so much blood from his hands being cut off, but he wasn’t dead yet and heard me loud and clear.
“Last but not least, how does it feel knowing your bloodline was erased. Your family wasn’t big anyway but Rosalina will never have to worry about someone from your family tree haunting her.” I backed away, nodded to one of the other guys and watched as Ed’s head was detached from his body.
“I tell my mother all the time I’m glad Aunt Anabel is my aunt and that I’m not your enemy.” Raul joked. He always assumed my mother would save him from my wrath if he did some fucked up shit and I’d have to kill him. Sad to say that no one could escape their fate when it came to me, family or not.
“Whatever.” I waved him off and told them we had to go change and get back to my party. Well I did for the most part due to Ed’s blood getting on me.
When I returned, my mother cursed me out saying I should’ve never left and a lot of people were looking for me. It didn’t matter to me since everyone was either family or close friends and saw me all the time.
Now I just finished listening to them sing,Happy Birthday,” and the lights went dim. The guy who worked for me were escorting my older family members out which only meant things were about to get nasty and I was here for it.
They had some strippers earlier to dance for everyone but as Raul would say, they were baby ones. The PG kind who didn’t remove any clothing and it wouldn’t be too provocative. But the ones they had coming out now had to be the rated R ones.
“Is the mic on?” Lifting my head from my phone, Rosalina stood at the DJ booth with the microphone in her hand. I knew damn well she wasn’t about to do anything inappropriate in front of me.
“I just wanted to tell my brother,“Happy Birthday and how much I love him before those skanks came out.”You could hear the laughs amongst the men.
“You’ve always protected me from a lot growing up and even though others see you as an unlikeable person, I wanted them all to know that you’re the opposite of that. You have the heart of gold and love everyone to a fault with no expectations. After daddy, you are my hero and I love you very much.” I smiled and watched Raul step over by the DJ booth and snatch the mic from her.
“Rosalina, you don’t have to fill his head up with lies because he’s ok with you and Felix being a couple.” My sister’s mouth fell open. No one knew about them yet since it literally just happened. She was mad as hell and started cursing him out.
“Whatever.” He mushed her in the forehead.
“Felix come get your girl so we can see some coochies pop and ass shake.” Raul handed the DJ back the mic and pushed Rosalina off and towards Felix. Shaking my head, I put my phone up when the music started and fake smoke started to fill the room.
“Yesssss.” Raul rubbed his hands together plopping down in a seat next to me.
“Nigga, ain’t your girl back at the hotel?” He told me yes and that’s why he could enjoy the strippers. Accepting a cigar from him, I lit it and enjoyed the show. Cigars weren’t really my thing but I did indulge once in a while.
“You’re sexy as hell. I wanna go home with you.” One of the strippers spoke in my ear and I’m not gonna lie, she was bad as fuck. Body was perfect, face nice and hair swinging down her back, yet there was one problem.
“If you don’t get your bad breath out my face, I’m gonna choke the shit outta you.” Her body stopped moving.
“I told you to pop a mint before we came out.” The stripper dancing with her said making the other chick mad.
“Fuck you and him.” Now why did she have to say that. Wrapping her hair around my hand, I slammed her on the ground, pushed the other chick away and stomped the bitch out.
“I told her not to talk shit to you but hey, people listen to who they want to.” The stripper knew me well from visiting many times and actually fucking her whenever I’m here. She had plans on us having a threesome with that very woman because we spoke earlier about it.
“Damn, we can’t take you nowhere.” Felix laughed, gesturing for two of the guys to come get that chick.
“That’s her fault. I told her not to try Cairo and she didn’t listen.” Shorty responded so I didn’t have to.
“I’ll be back.” Rising up outta my seat, I stretched, grabbed my cigar and stepped out the patio door of the hotel.
Making my way down the stairs and onto the sand, I stood there taking in the full moon that lit up the entire beach. There were a few couples walking together and some lonely stragglers probably looking for a good time with a stranger.
“If I weren’t terrified of you, I’d mention how handsome you look.” Turning around to see who the person was, a snarl came across my face.
“You’re terrified of me yet still managed to say I’m sexy. You don’t even make sense.” Kateri rolled her eyes.
