Thoughhemight not have a lot of free time, he’d be up to his neck in work for law school. He’d just made his decision earlier that week: University of Washington Law. They had an excellent program in sports law, and he had this so-far mostly unformed idea that someday he could use his law degree to work with Bash at his foundation. Bash hadn’t told anyone else about his foundation, aside from Adonis, and it had made Adonis love Bash even more.

“I hope your apartment in Seattle has a guest room,” Clarisse said.

“Apartment?” Adonis said. “Bash bought a fucking house. He’s not just my boyfriend. He’s my sugar daddy.”

“Ew,” Bash said. “I’m breaking up with you.”

Adonis kissed Bash. “Nice try.”

On the TV, the referee dropped the puck. The game began.

Adonis leaned his head against his boyfriend’s shoulder, and Bash draped an arm around him, pulling him closer.

There were still some questions about what would happen next, but Adonis was ready to face those questions because he wouldn’t be facing them alone.
