She gags again, whimpering, but takes more of me in her small mouth. Her throat convulses, and I reward her with a pulse through the Venus Lock that makes her hips grind helplessly against the floor.
“Eyes up.”
Her brown gaze finds mine, tears are streaking down her face, spit is shining on her lips. She looks wrecked, ruined, holy. And there’s no one in the galaxy like her, and no matter what Rafe says, I’m never giving her up.
“When I finish,” I warn her, tightening my grip in her hair until she whimpers, “you will swallow everything. You will drink me down like sacrament.”
Her throat convulses around me, gagging as I hold her to me, but she doesn’t pull away. “Loyalty is this—your mouth stretched, your jaw aching, and your pride swallowed along with my come. Look at me.”
Her eyes rise, desperate and wet, and the sight almost makes me lose it.
“Yes,” I hiss. “Cry for me. Worship me. Every tear proves your devotion more than any oath you could speak, or piece of jewelry you could wear.”
She whimpers around me, saliva bubbling at the corners of her lips, but her hot tongue flicks against me with frantic obedience.
“You love it,” I taunt, grinding deeper into her throat until she gags hard enough her whole body shudders. “Don’t you dare deny it. Your cunt is wet while you choke for me. You’re proving your loyalty with spit and tears.”
Her muffled moan confirms it. The lock punishes her with another brutal wave, forcing her hips to jerk against the floor.
“My good human,” I groan, my pace quickening. I yank her down hard, holding her there, her nose buried against my skin as I spill into her throat.
“Swallow,” I growl, holding her hair tight so she can’t pull away. “Every. Fucking. Drop.”
She chokes, gags, but obeys. Her throat working and eyes locked on mine, swallowing me like I’m a god giving her a divine drink.
When I finally let her go, she pulls back gasping, strands of saliva connecting her lips to me. I cup her jaw, smearing her spit and tears across her face like paint. “That,” I say, “is loyalty.”
She bows her head, trembling. The emblem Rafe gave her catches my eye from where it hangs off her uniform on the floor. Rafe likes to give her material things, but I like to give her things she can never lose, like memories of sensations.
“Now return to your desk as if nothing happened. Smile at the guests with those lips that were on my cock and remember whose seed is still warm inside you.”
She staggers to her feet, clothes clutched to her chest, face still shining with spit and tears. The goddess holograms stare down in silent blessing.
When Eve has left, I kneel before the goddesses again, beginning my own prayers. Not for forgiveness, but for the strength to guide her descending arc when Eve finds out what we really have trained her for.

YOU’RE ONLY HUMAN, EVE
The salty tasteof sin still lingers on my tongue as I sit in the Staff Canteen, mechanically stirring sugar into my tea. My hands won't stop shaking. The blessed compound Lorian gave me has mostly worn off, but my body remembers everything. Every touch. Every command. Every forbidden moment in the shrine.
And it was both humiliating and intoxicating. And I would do it again.
I don’t know when I became this woman. I certainly didn’t choose to become like this. But I learned how to be this way to survive life at the Spire with the Sovereigns and the Venus Lock, because the alternative was going to be me breaking into a thousand pieces.
And I will not be broken by anyone.
“You look terrible," Lira says, sliding into the seat across from me. Her green eyes show genuine concern. "Are you feeling alright?"
"Just tired."
She doesn't look convinced, but before she can press further, Rae sweeps into the room. The Reima Two Interspecies Resources officer’s gaze lands on me immediately, and she gives me a fake smile.
"Well, well. If it isn't the Sovereigns' special project." She moves to the beverage station, her movements deliberately casual. "I saw you stumbling out of Sovereign Rafe's office yesterday. The whole executive floor heard you wailing like an animal. Very professional. But I guess a human would do anything for a piece of shiny jewelry."
Instinctively, my hand goes to the pin Rafe gave me. I knew it would cause problems as it’s worth more UCs than they paid for the Terra Sanctum hotel, but no one has said anything out loud to me until now. “Are you questioning a Sovereign’s gift?”
“No. Just letting you know we heard your human grunts.” Her nose wrinkles as she gets closer. "And now you reek of Imperial incense. Did Sovereign Lorian have his turn today? That's what you humans do, isn't it? Spread your hairy legs for anyone who promises you an orgasm?" She tilts her head. "Tell me, have they made you their companion yet? I don't see a collar, but then again, you probably don't need one. You seem eager enough to debase yourself without it."
