Orion chuckled from behind them, Tisi and Serena flying by his shoulder. “Watch out for the pixies. I’m going to go see the dads and give them some grandda time. Just give me a shout if you need me.”

“Thanks, Orion. We’ll meet you back here?”

Orion nodded to Corbin. “Sure, it’s not like I wouldn’t be able to find you. You know Serena has a nose.”

Corbin laughed, and suddenly there was this lovely, slender, bright green dragon in front of him, flying up in the air and turning in circles. It was beautiful and wild, and all of the grasses around him perked up, flowers blooming as Corbin spun.

Orion chuckled softly. “Now there’s some magic.”

Do you want me to carry you?Corbin asked, sounding a little unsure, which Evander understood because he was a large fae and grounded to the earth like a loadstone.

No. I will summon my wild side and run with you.He thought about a giant stag, about horns and leaping and running like the wind. He could keep up with his sleek, speedy dragon.

He could feel Corbin’s awe through their bond, awe and need. Someone found him incredibly sexual in this form.

Not just this form. You’re hot in all the forms.Corbin swooped down, claws catching his antlers just so.You do it for me, you know?

I do. Because I want you all the time.He took off for the forest he could see not too far away, wanting the challenge of the trees. Corbin would be able to flit around them.

Also, it might afford them some privacy if there weren’t dryads.

Corbin could fly like the wind, keeping up with him easily. Everywhere they went, things bloomed and grew—it was amazing because, well, that was his job too.

In the winter, we’ll make babies grow.

He wasn’t sure that that thought was meant for him, but he heard it. Corbin’s desire was clear as a bell.

We will. We’ll make babies grow. Friends for the little ones who are there.

Are you going to be happy in a house?Corbin flew behind a tree, almost hiding from him.Are you going to be angry if you’re stuck inside?

We’ll go to the Land of Summer whenever we want. No one can deny our mating. He paused, daring to tease.Even if I have vampirism and unicorn in me.

There’s no vampire in you. No vampires, maybe a touch of unicorn.

He chuckled softly, zipping around to poke Corbin in the butt. Are you sure you don’t mind having a little bit of unicorn in me?

I have a brother who’s had a lot of unicorn inside of him, and I still like him.

That’s terrible.Evander wrinkled his nose.No one wants to think about that!

You’re not curious about whether or not unicorns are hung like mooses?

The only thing I want you to be curious about is whether or not I am hung like a moose.

A giant stag.He didn’t notice a hint of disparagement in that thought, more just a happy little hum.

Your giant stag. Just remember that.

As if I could forget.Corbin shot off again, dancing through the trees. It was like a lightning bolt of joy landing on the ground, causing golden blooms to explode all around him before shooting back up into the air. And then suddenly there were apples falling at his feet.

You’re very fertile right now, my dear.

What if I’m already pregnant? It could happen.

It could. And if you are, then we’ll have babies. And if you aren’t, then one day you will be. And if you never are, then we will continue to practice for an eternity.

Making love was, after all, what he was created for.
