But sleep doesn't come. I toss and turn for ten minutes until, unable to take it anymore, I pull back the covers and lower my pants, freeing my hard cock.

I glance at Ceci, considering waking her, but I quickly change my mind.I can't do this.

I exhale softly, my left hand wrapping around my cock while my right hand delicately nudges aside the covers on her side. One strap of her nightgown has slid down her shoulder, revealing a tantalizing glimpse of the upper curve of her breasts… perfectly shaped, as if made to fit in my hands.

I stroke myself in slow movements, pausing now and then to draw the pleasure out. All the while, I don’t take my eyes off Ceci for a second. I could make watching her my second job.

When I can’t hold back any longer, I pick up the pace, the familiar tingle building in my balls. Even with my eyes open, fixed on Ceci, a forbidden image takes shape in my mind, and I hear it as clearly as if she were beside me… her breathless voice teasing me:Yes… sir.

I come hard, the sensation spreading through me as cum spills across my stomach.

“Fuck,” I whisper, my eyes on Ceci, still sleeping peacefully.

I head to the bathroom to clean up the mess I made.

When I return to bed, I adjust Ceci’s nightgown strap, straighten the covers, and kiss her forehead.

“I love you,” I murmur, letting my lips linger.

When I rest my head on the pillow, I stare at the ceiling.

What the hell am I getting myself into?

I check my briefcase while Ceci and the kids finish breakfast.

“Daddy,” Alicia calls.

“Yes, honey,” I reply without looking up.

“Don’t forget prom is today. I really want to take some pictures with you in the dress Mom and I picked. It’s so beautiful!” Her voice drifts, soft and dreamy.

This whole prom thing has been her favorite topic lately. I’m choosing not to think too hard about what it’ll be like when she starts going to the real ones at her school.

I close the briefcase and finally glance at her, smiling. “I’m sure it is. And it’ll look even more beautiful because my little princess will be wearing it.”

I kiss her cheek, squeeze Ethan’s shoulders, and as I lean toward Ceci, she says softly, “I’ll walk you out.”

I hold out a hand to help her up, and we step outside together.

The morning air is still cool. Ceci turns to me, worry etched into the softness of her features.

“Please don’t get lost in work today. Try to be home on time, okay? Alicia’s been talking about prom for weeks… she’d really love it if you were here before she leaves.”

“I told you I’ll be home for the photos, Ceci. Even though it’s not arealprom,” I say, the edge in my tone harsher than I intend.

“I know. But Sophia’s mom’s gone all out to make tonight special for the kids. It’s a big deal for Alicia, so please… just be here.”

I don’t answer. My gaze shifts toward the car, the street beyond it.

“It’s just…” she starts again. “You’ve been working so much lately. Some days, even more than usual. Coming home later and later, more often than not. I know I’ve said this before, but you work too much. I don’t want to see you burn yourself out.”
