“I did, didn’t I? Do you deserve it, Natasha? I’m not sure, but we’ll see. Now go home and stop grinning, it makes me horny.” His annoyance had all but dissipated now.
“Maybe I’m not grinning.” She laughed.
“Baby, we both know you are.” He laughed back before she heard him say, “Last time I checked a lunch hour lasted for just one hour, Amanda.”
She heard Amanda reply, but not what she was saying.
Then Jim spoke again. “Okay, okay. Just forget it this once. No, no coffee, thanks. I’ll be leaving soon.”
She was glad he hadn’t been mad at Amanda and hoped he didn’t tell her off after he hung up from her.
“Right then, Miss Winters, I have a couple of things to finish off before I come home. As you heard, Amanda is in the clear for her tardiness, but you, well, that’s a different story completely, so, I will see you later.” He hung up making her ridiculously happy at histhreats.
Maybe that’s where her predecessors had gone wrong, they may have tried to get out of his bad books with apologies and promises not to do it again, whereas she actually encouraged hisconsequences, and what consequences they were, and then she apologised and promised not to do it again. Abby was right. He loved how she challenged him that way and it could lead to her success rather than failure as Mrs Maybury take seven.

Abby took Tasha home and stayed for coffee that they sat outside drinking. They were chatting when Lizzie and Danielle appeared with a couple of boys.
“Hi Tasha, can we hang out here this afternoon? Dylan and Josh have to leave in about an hour though,” said Lizzie.
“I guess so.” Tasha smiled at the tall, slightly gangly, awkward looking teenage boys staring at her cleavage that was now on show courtesy of her quick change into a bikini top and denim shorts.
“Cool, we’ll get drinks and then we’ll go upstairs,” said Lizzie.
Tasha’s nerves kicked in, thinking she would never have been allowed to take a boy up to her room. She looked across at Abby who looked equally alarmed.
“Erm, Lizzie, could I just have a minute?” Tasha stood up and followed Lizzie into the house.
Danielle and the boys stood waiting for Lizzie.
“Do you want to take your drinks out to the pool? We won’t be long,” Tasha assured the others with a warm and friendly smile.
They immediately did as she said.
“Are you okay?” Lizzie asked.
“Yeah, but I’m not comfortable with you taking boys upstairs when your dad isn’t here. I would prefer for you to stay down here. You can do whatever you want to do so long as it’s down here,” Tasha said, hoping she’d found just the right amount of firmness to convey she was serious but without pissing Lizzie off or sending her into a strop.
“Why? Do you think I’m a tramp and will do something I shouldn’t?” Lizzie sounded offended and possibly about to defy Tasha’s request.
“What? No! Of course not, but I know at your age I wouldn’t have been allowed to take a boy up to my room,” explained Tasha and realised that whilst that was true she was being farmed out to pay off her dad’s debts with sex. “I am not your mum and your dad will be back soon I would rather you waited. Oh, and even girls who are not tramps can’t always control teenage boys who are always thinking with their penis, Lizzie,” she explained with a laugh that Lizzie joined in with.
“Okay, I get it,” agreed Lizzie who followed her friends outside.
Tasha breathed a huge sigh of relief as she re-joined Abby who kept laughing at her.
“Those boys are loving you,” she teased.
“Ssh,” said Tasha, “They’re here with Lizzie and Danielle.”
“Yes they are, but they’re staying for you, Tasha. In fact, the taller one, Dylan? He can’t take his eyes off your tits and I think he may even have a boner.” Laughed Abby.
“Don’t!” protested Tasha and then with a quick glance at the kids on the opposite side of the pool she shook her head before turning back to Abby. “He does, doesn’t he?”
They both laughed as Abby looked back across at Dylan. “And a rather impressive package he has there too.”
Tasha laughed again, louder now, possibly cackling slightly with Abby for a few seconds and was then startled into silence by Jim’s voice.
