“You’re a lifeguard?” asked Tasha.

He nodded, pointing to the buoy under his arm and the uniform, the brief uniform of shorts he was wearing. “I’d be more than happy to demonstrate my revival skills.”

“Bit cheesy,” she replied, but still laughed.

Tasha stood up and still found herself looking up slightly to face the young man.

“You’re English,” he said.

“Yes, and you?”

“Yes, Manchester. You?”

“London. What brings you over here?” She noticed the bright green eyes staring down at her, almost into her, making her blush slightly.

“Work,” he replied, grinning. “I came to make it in Hollywood, but in the meantime I am life guarding and meeting beautiful ladies like you.”

Tasha laughed at his cheesy lines and blushed a little more. She had no intention of flirting, not real flirting but the banter felt slightly flirtatious. She knew Jim was sitting further up the beach. Maybe he wouldn’t notice. She wasn’t even fooling herself with that thought, after all, he noticed everything.

“What brings you here?”

“Friends and family.” She gestured towards the others up the beach.

“Is she yours?” He pointed to Alexa.

“Gosh, no,” cried Tasha.

“I thought not, you don’t look old enough, but you never know.” He smiled again.

“I am definitely not old enough. Not for children anyway.” She blushed again realising that she really was flirting.

“I thought that maybe you were a model because you have an amazing body.” He didn’t even try to disguise the fact he was checking out all of her.

She turned slightly and realised he was now able to fully appreciate her rear. What the fuck was she doing? If Jim figured what was going on there was every chance she’d find herself over his shoulder and heading somewhere for a very hard spanking. But she had no intention of doing anything beyond harmless flirting and why shouldn’t she when Jim was sat discussing the merits of Sally Carter and her cougar mother with Bobby?

“I have done some modelling.”

He nodded and smiled.

“This is a nice beach,” she said lamely as though it was his.

“Why, thank you.” He gestured across the beach as if it really was his.

Tasha laughed as Alexa stood up next to her. “Should we go back and I can tell Mommy I went in the water up to here.” She gestured to her thighs.

“Okay,” said Tasha. “Nice to meet you and good luck with the Hollywood thing...” She was unsure how to address him, but knew that she really needed to get away and stop the flirtatious comments before he assumed she was interested in him, which she wasn’t.

“Dean.” He’d just placed a hand on her arm as Lizzie appeared.

“Tasha, Daddy wants us all together, you should come back.” She grinned up at Dean. “Hi, I’m Lizzie.”

“Hi. Dean,” he said with a brief smile before reverting his attention back to Tasha.

“We should be going then.” Tasha turned towards the beach and briefly turned back. “Bye Dean.”

“Bye.” He watched her holding hands with the two younger girls, heading back up the beach towards her friends and family, whatever and whoever they were. Maybe they were all sisters, step-sisters. Whatever they were, Tasha was seriously hot and he could have kicked himself for letting her leave without a date or at least her number. He stared at her ass wiggling as she walked, God what he wouldn’t give to see it, to touch it and as he thought back to the sight of her large, perky, perfect tits he had to rearrange himself in his shorts. He shuddered when he realised he had less than an hour of his shift left and decided that he would make a move before leaving for the day otherwise he may never get the chance again and the memory of that ass and those tits, God, the legs too, the memory of her would haunt him forever if he didn’t at least take a shot at her.

Jim watched Tasha wiggle down the beach as Bobby continued to fill him in on Sally Carter’s impending divorce. He was in no doubt that her sudden departure was due to the topic of Sally and Mrs Carter, but he liked her jealousy and insecurities where other women were concerned, partly because it stroked his ego, but more so because it would help him to make her his for keeps if he played it right. He sat back on the lounger she’d occupied and smiled as he watched her enter the water with Alexa who seemed at ease with Tasha, although she had never met her before today and now she was allowing her to coax her into the water that scared her.
