Tasha cut her eyes making them laugh again.
“I am not a bad loser, but I think the time difference is catching up, so I am going to bed. Night, sis,” said Dan as he kissed Tasha and hugged her warmly before moving onto Pippa who yawned loudly.
“Yeah, me too. I’m knackered,” said Pippa, making Tasha tut. “Sorry,” added Pippa, rephrasing her sentiment with a wry grin, “I am exhausted.” She stretched up and kissed Jim on the cheek as she hugged him before saying, “You are pretty cool, Jim. Lizzie is so lucky to have a dad like you.”
She turned and kissed her sister before taking Dan’s hand and as they both headed for the stairs Tasha walked over to where Jim now sat and straddled his lap before kissing him gently on the lips.
“What was that for?” he asked curiously.
“Didn’t you like it?”
“Oh, baby, it was not a complaint, but I just wondered what it was for?” He tucked her hair behind her ears and smiled.
“It was because you are the nicest man I have ever known,” she said simply.
“I see. You should probably keep that to yourself because if that gets out you would ruin my bad ass reputation,” he said, mocking her.
“Then it will be our secret, but thank you.”
“For what?” he asked, apparently confused.
“For being so nice and making Dan and Pippa welcome,” she explained as she kissed him again.
“I told you before that I want to make you happy and that includes the people you care about and all three of you are good people who deserve to be happy and settled in life,” he told her making her feel a little tearful.
“Thank you,” she replied.
“Plus, your sister is a fine bowler and helped me to win my bet.” He suddenly became less serious.
“And when do you plan on claiming your prize?”
“Now that would be telling, but I haven’t decided what I’m going to ask of you yet, so not tonight,” he said as she yawned. “You should go to bed, Dan was right about the time difference. Your body must be on about six in the morning, honey.”
“Which is the time your alarm goes off, so maybe you could wake me in your unique way.” She grinned, making him laugh.
“No problem, baby, but I am on L.A. time so it will be at six a.m. in California before I wake you. Now go to bed and I will be up soon,” he said as he gently rubbed her behind.
Chapter 24
Tasha slept well until a particularly erotic dream disturbed her; she was tied to a bed, not their bed and the room was unfamiliar, maybe a hotel room and try as she might to move she was completely immobile. Jim was most attentive to her pleasure, to the extent that she was delirious. Every time she began to come down from the waves of pleasure he’d take her back there until she thought she wouldn’t be able to recover. She cried out as she reached her final climax then panicked as she realised that she was about to pee. In fact, as she stirred she wasn’t convinced she hadn’t begun to wet herself. She leapt from the bed and for a second had to check that she actually hadn’t wet the bed. With a huge sense of relief she ran towards the bathroom and realised that Jim was lying in bed awake, watching her.
When she returned, she crawled back into bed and wrapped herself around him.
“Good morning, baby.” Jim kissed the end of her nose with a gentleness she wasn’t expecting.
“Good morning to you, too,” Tasha rested a hand on his chest.
“You were very restless,” he told her with possible concern as he stroked her face. “You okay?”
She flushed and felt hot as she recalled the reason for her flustered sleep.
“What?” Jim’s obvious intrigue at her discomfort was no real surprise.
“Nothing.” She flushed further as she continued to protest.
“Tell me.” He gently stroked her hair as if tending a frightened animal but she knew he was trying to coax a revelation from her.
“No!” Her face reached a deep crimson shade.
