“Am I fucking you good, Harper?”

“Yes! Yes!”

“Am I giving you what you need?”

“Yes!”

“Tell me what you need from me then, Harper. Tell me how to have this again.”

“I don’t . . . I don’t know.”

“You do know, Harper. You know I know how to take care of you. Tell me you’re going to let me take care of you,” he said, gripping my face and making me look at him.

“OK.”

“OK?” he asked.

“Yes.”

“Are you mine again?”

“JoJo!” I screamed.

“Tell me you’re mine, Harper. My pussy still feels like mine. You still look like mine. You still feel like you’re fucking mine.”

My body tensed as the first orgasm I’d had in too many months to count tore through me like a wet napkin. I was wrecked as my body slumped against him. JoJo fell back against the chair holding on to me as he released. He gripped the back of my head, pulling my lips to his before wrapping his arms around my back.

“I’m never letting you go again, Harper. I’m not making that mistake twice.”

Too spent to argue, I rested my head against his chest and listened as his heartbeat slowed. We stayed like that for a long while before I dozed off.

I carried Harperto her bedroom and lay down with her still in my arms. I couldn’t let her go even if I tried. With Harper’s head resting on my chest, I felt better than I had in a long time. I felt like my world was finally coming back together. It had been too long since she was in my arms.

“Jordy, I don’t want to wake up with regrets.”

“You won’t, Harper. Don’t think like that.”

“There’s so much at stake. I know you have good intentions, JoJo, but I’m starting all over and trying to build a life for me and my son here. I can’t risk it all blowing up.”

“I just want to love you, Harper. I’m not trying to disrupt your plans. I want to help you in any way I can.”

“I know, JoJo. I just don’t want us to move too fast.”

“This has been eight years in the making, Harper. We were together for five years. It’s not like we don’t know and love each other. I’m not willing to let you go again, baby. I’m just not.”

“How would this even work, Jordy?”

“What do you mean?” I asked, genuinely curious about how she would answer.

“You know what I mean?”

I chuckled under my breath. “No, I don’t. Are you asking if we will still include Jase?”

She lowered her eyes before responding. Harper was usually bold, so her timidness caught me off guard. “Yes.”

Her voice was low and questioning. I couldn’t get a good enough read to know whether or not she was hopeful or worried. It didn’t matter. I loved to watch her in action. I loved watching her come undone from the sidelines. I liked destroying her just as much. Whatever Harper wanted worked for me. I tipped her chin up, feeling the heat of her breath on my face before I pressed my lips against her lips.

“I just want you, Harper. How it works is completely up to you. You know I’m down for whatever you want. You know what I like, but I respect your wishes more than anything.”
