Yep.
Later.
I was.
He’d.
Later came too soon.
“You moved me.” Aww. “That’s cheating.”
Levi snuggled around me, kissing the back of my neck.
“You put clothes on. That’s cheating too.”
Chuckling, he kissed me again. “I wasn’t going to walk around your house naked just in case, and I wanted to get a washcloth to clean you up. So I put my pants on.”
“That’s tragic, but I understand.” Being dramatic got me more kisses and kept me from having to answer questions, so it was a win-win situation. “I don’t approve, but I understand.”
I approved of not being sticky, though, and of having a giggly Daddy.
“Do you approve of spankings, though?” The snicker he let out when I nodded had me wondering if smothering him would be justifiable homicide. “I’m glad.”
Ugh.
He was going to make me talk.
“You don’t have to worry.” He’d worry and he’d get grumpy and it would be all dramatic. “I knew I’d like it.”
It would definitely be justifiable if he kept giggling.
“Yep, you were so confident about that you hid from it by being little. It makes perfect sense.” Since we both knew why it happened and that it was logical, he gave me another kiss and stopped cheating. “Naps make perfect sense too.”
That definitely made sense.
“Nap with me, Daddy?” He nodded against me, kissing and nuzzling, and it was perfect but something felt weird. “What am I covered with?”
He snorted.
“A fucking towel. You don’t have any blankets. Who the fuck gets to move out without someone giving them decorative blankets? It’s a fucking rite of passage.”
Oh.
“My mother gave me crystals.” His utter silence said a lot. “She said they were more helpful than blankets I’d never use.”
He tried to be polite.
He really did.
His sigh said more than the silence had, though.
“I’m going to buy you a blanket for Christmas.”
Clearly Daddy didn’t agree with her logic.
