“You don’t have to explain, sweetheart.” Pops reaches out and squeezes my hand. “You never hid that you wanted to get away from here, from your birth family. We respected that. We still do.”
“I feel that I didn’t respect you the way I should’ve. Even if you knew I planned on leaving, I should’ve done it in a lot kinder way. Eighteen-year-old me was a bit of a dick.”
“So not much has changed then.” Knox snorts, then yelps. “Hey, no kicking me.” He scowls at Royal, who looks smug.
“Right now, I’m looking for somewhere to live. I don’t want anything huge. I just need a space to work but nothing seems to be right. To big, too small, too expensive. It’s becoming a right pain. I can’t keep staying at the Airbnb, that’s getting old. I want my own things.”
Robin grins at me at the same time as Kip lets out a laugh. “We may be able to help you with that. We have a flat that’s empty. It was Noah’s, but when he moved in with Saint before the six months were up, we took over the payments.”
Saint nods his head in agreement. “It’s a great place, about a fifteen, maybe twenty-minute walk from my place. Noah would walk it on dry days.”
“You just happen to keep an empty flat?” I gape at the craziness of these two men.
“Well, you never know when someone needs some help.” Robin brushes it off as if it’s a normal thing to do.
“It’s furnished too,” Royal says. “We can go and check it out later, if you want?”
I’m nodding before he even finishes speaking. “That would be great.” I turn to Kip. “Are you sure this is okay?”
“Of course. You must know that Robin never says anything he doesn’t mean. I think it would be good for you.”
I notice Saint looking down at Noah, they seem to be communicating. He nods and shifts back in his chair, giving room for Noah to move out from under the table. He lays over Saint’s lap, his arse up in the air. Knox snorts something about never a dull moment, but my eyes are glued to the scene happening on the other side of the table.
Thwack!
I flinch as the crop comes down hard on Noah’s bare skin. It’s repeated again and again, and while Noah’s body flinches, he doesn’t say a word. When it’s over, he stands up, stepping back to let Saint stand. “Thank you, Sir,” Noah says, his voice deep, husky even. He sounds aroused, and when he turns to face the table, his cock is throbbing in the cage, making it move. “I apologise for my bad manners today.”
“Good boy.” Saint kisses the top of his boy’s head, then takes his hand and leads him out of the room.
“Jesus,” Royal huffs out a laugh. “I hope you two don’t ever bring someone home when those two are around.” He points at Knox and Drake, both of them laughing along. Then he looks at me. I don’t know what he sees, but he likes it. “How turned on are you right now?” he whispers.
I squirm in my chair, my face heating up because he’s right. However inappropriate any other family may have thought that little show was, this one takes it as an everyday occurrence. The sight of the crop hitting Noah’s bare flesh was sexy as fuck. My dick is throbbing, and my arse clenching, feeling empty. “More than I should be,” I whisper back.
A few minutes later, Saint and Noah come back. Noah is dressed, and both are looking flushed. It’s obvious that the punishment is over, and it’s also apparent by Noah’s red and puffy lips that he’s just sucked Saint’s dick.
“Would you like some food now, Noah?” Robin asks.
The whole table cracks up laughing, including Noah. “Um, yes please, that would be great.” He’s pulled down onto Saint’s lap, this time sitting and lets Saint feed him. It’s incredibly moving. I feel privileged to witness such intimacy.
Later, after dinner is over and we’ve all helped clean up and loaded the dishwashers, yes, there are two, Royal grabs my hand. “We need to leave now.” His voice is low as if he’s telling me a secret. “I’ve got the keys to the flat. They’ll all come along if we say anything.”
“We can’t go without saying goodbye. It’s rude.” I mimic his hushed tone.
“I’ve said it to Dad. It was his idea.”
I nod, and we sneak to the door, and we almost make it.
“Hey, where are you going?” Drake calls out from the kitchen door.
“Fuck!” In unison, we turn our heads to look and there he is, looking all smug with his arms folded over his chest.
Robin joins him and it clicks. “Hey, don’t rush off. We were going to show you the flat.”
And that’s why there’s more men than there are square feet in the flat. “What do you think?” Robin says too enthusiastically. There’s no way I can turn him down.
“It’s lovely. A bit too crowded to see it properly.”
His face falls a little. “I should’ve let you and Royal come alone, shouldn’t I? I get too excited about having everyone around me again. Kip is always telling me to calm down, to let you all work things out, but is it wrong to want all my boys happy?”
