“Come,” he says while making the hand signal he taught me.

I crawl over to him, glad when he lifts me and settles me on his lap. He hasn’t touched me as much today as he normally does. He couldn’t while he was working. My days are going to be long and boring now that we’ll either go to his government office or he’ll work from his home office. I’ll be expected to sit quietly at his feet while he takes care of important government business that makes no sense to me, even when he leaves the translator on.

I curl up in his lap and snuggle into him, still wearing the pink jammies with the little dogs on them.

Daddy wraps his hand around the leash a few inches from my collar and gives a slight tug.

My breath hitches, and I squirm. As much as I loathe being chained to the floor, there’s something about the restraint that makes me feel irrational things. Arousal.

Most of the time, I simmer and feel frustrated by the total restriction and deep submission he requires of me. But as soon as he tugs on the leash near my neck, demanding my undivided attention, forcing me to tip my head back, something in me snaps into place. I start breathing heavily. My nipples stiffen. My pussy gets swollen and wet.

I can’t hide my reactions from him. I’ll never be able to. Even the jammies can’t contain my pheromones. He doesn’t need to see my puckered titties to know I’m aroused.

Daddy removes the band from my braid, unravels my hair, and starts petting me. He likes to do this in the evening. We sit silently for a long time while I’m lulled into submission by his fingers sliding through my hair over and over.

Tonight, he keeps one hand wrapped tightly around the leash, lifting just enough to force me to keep my head tipped up, angling me where he wants me. I’ve often worn a leash in the house, but the other end was never attached to anything. Today is different. I’m chained to the floor. My mobility is restricted.

Not that I had permission to wander around freely in the apartment before today. I certainly have not. I’ve never once crawled away from Daddy in any direction. I’ve never even considered doing so. It’s not as though I could escape and run out the door.

Where would I go? There’s a GPS tracker in my collar. I’d never make it to the door, let alone into the hallway. I’m now aware of yet another safeguard Daddy put into place today.

At some point while my translator was turned off, he met again with Vabar. I saw the tech employee come into the office. I watched the interaction between him and Daddy, but I didn’t know until we got home that Daddy had a new type of alarminstalled on the door. If I ever cross that line for any reason, a blaring alarm will go off.

It’s unnerving. Why am I wiggling on Daddy’s lap?

After a while, Daddy starts talking, oddly picking up where we left off in our earlier conversation. “I did a lot of research on the arrangement between humans and their pets, especially dogs.”

I look at him, wondering where he’s going with this.

“Turns out, I understand much better now. Dogs were kept on leashes for their protection so they couldn’t run out into the street and get hit by a car. They had kennels so dogs would have a safe place to go where they could sleep or rest. Their owners even lined the kennels with soft blankets and pillows. They had bowls of food and water that were specifically chosen and regulated by their owners to keep them healthy. They even had microchips inserted under their skin that would help their owners locate them in the event they got lost or stolen.”

I swallow as I listen.

“On Earth, pets were loved beyond measure. Trained to obey their owners for their own safety and protection. It looks like most humans took better care of their pets than some humans did their own offspring.”

I wince. I think he’s right.

Daddy keeps petting me. “You’re my pet, Luna.”

Tears gather in the corners of my eyes. He’s making an important, serious proclamation.

“I bought you as a pet. I know I was uninformed about your abilities and intelligence, but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re mine to protect and care for. There are only two humans on Venkoria so far.Two. Over time, more will be brought over, purchased, and taken into homes like this one. Even if there were a hundred or a thousand or a hundred thousand, this is not a planet where it will ever be safe for humans to roam aroundunattended with the freedom they had on Earth. Venkorians are much larger and stronger. If you walked out the front door, one of them would snatch you up in a heartbeat.”

I know he’s right. I fight to hold back the unnecessary emotional tears.

“As soon as word spreads that human pets are bringing out a latent sexual response in their owners, obtaining a human female will become the most coveted purchase on the planet.”

I nod and sniffle. I’ll never have the freedom I crave. It’s not possible.

“You are the center of my world now, Little pet. I will not let anything happen to you. I’m taking away more and more of your autonomy in an effort to keep you safe and protected. It would destroy me if anything happened to you.”

I swallow hard again.

“I want you to be happy. I want you to smile and giggle and look at me with all the adoration I feel when I look at you. But I won’t risk anything happening to you, no matter what. Your safety is more important than your happiness.”

I set my hand over his where he’s gripping my leash.

“I know it’s hard for you. I know you’re struggling. But at the same time, you cannot hide how your body reacts to me. You crave my dominance. You get a jolt in your pussy when I attach a leash to your collar. The sound of your kennel locking makes cream leak out of you. You spread your legs for me when I tug on the chain at your neck.” He does so now to prove his point.
