As they took the seats on either side of me, their long limbs fitted with ease, and the sheer size of this bath made much more sense.
“Relax,” Slade ordered, and like I was born to obey him, I found myself sinking deeper into the heat.
He reached for a scrub cloth that he then liberally doused with a sweet and smoky bodywash. The scent reminded me of both dragons.
“I don’t want to lose her scent,” Talon complained, reaching out as if to stop his brother.
Slade ignored his outstretched hand as he stroked the cloth over my chest. “You won’t,” he assured him. “Her scent will only grow stronger when mixed with ours.”
I’d been through this before with the alphas and knew he was right.
Talon decided not to argue as he leaned down and breathed against my throat. “I love scenting you on me. On us.”
“What—?” I breathed deeply to get myself under control, which was an impossibly task with an alpha washing my skin, his hands slowly tracing over the scar on my back. None of my pack appeared to care that I wasn’t perfect like most shifters, instead treating my flaw like a warrior’s trophy. It made me think of it in a similar way.
I’d survived. More that survived, I’d found true happiness.
Or more accurately, it had found me.
Talon dipped my head back before he started to wash my hair, and when his strong fingers massaged my scalp, I was groaning again. “What do you think… think will happen once we complete the quintet?” Words were hard around these two.
Talon’s chuckle was deep and rumbly, adding to the orgasmic sensations tingling through my body. “This is my new favorite version of you, mate. Raw, needy, and overwhelmed by us.”
Slade released a grunt of agreement, his hands moving beneath the water as he washed my tits, my nipples aching with each caress. “Once we’re bonded, I believe the full potential of our power and beasts will be unleashed. A stronger connection, increased power and strength, closeness between our beasts, and… possibly the ability to mentally communicate.”
“You’ve thought about this a lot,” I noted, breathing embarrassingly heavy as he stroked the cloth lower. Talon pulled me back against his chest as he rinsed out my hair using the water falling from the showerhead. “I wonder if the magical side of my essence will add another dimension.”
Slade answered so quickly, I knew he’d already considered all possibilities of magical interference. “Yes, there’s no doubt it will. Everything that would normally happen will most likely be amplified with magic. This is a first-of-its-kind bonding when you take into account that there’s six in our quintet, it’s an all alpha pack with anomega, and then we have magic. There’s no way to accurately guess at the results.”
His words were important, but at the same time the cloth hit my thighs and his fingers brushed over my clit. I lurched as white noise filled my head, every cell in my body turned on. I would hazard a guess that if one of my alphas even breathed on me in the right way, I’d orgasm into next week.
When my hair and body were thoroughly washed, I was moved fully under the rainfall showerhead once more, and they both held me as I closed my eyes and let the stream coat us.
Ever since I’d been dragged kicking and screaming into this world, the Reeves pack had cared for me. Thoroughly. Unconditionally. Without any expectations in return.
It was so much more than I deserved, but I was too greedy to ever share it.
Slade kissed the side of my throat, disrupting the tears threatening to fall. “Clean and relaxed,” he murmured between kisses. “And now it’s time for us to get you worked up and dirty.”
Yes. Please.
My lower half clenched on nothing, and the ache of emptiness nearly drove me insane. Thank the goddess I was only minutes away from being filled and sated. There was no way these two, even as virgins, weren’t about to fuck me within an inch of my life.
I might not be able to predict what our full bond would result in, but I could predict the path that would get us there.
CHAPTER 8
EMME
The bed in this apartment was bordering on obscene, from the size, to the comfort, to the feel of expensive sheets. Bedding fit for the last two dragon shifters in existence.
After the bath, I’d been thoroughly dried with the sort of tender care and attention to detail that I associate only withmyalphas. The nerves had been mostly kept at bay by the throbbing need driving me crazy, but now that I was sprawled across the bed, with two sexy and naked males staring down at me, a shot of tension had me clutching the black sheets on either side of me.
Slade’s expression was shadowed and unreadable, but the rumble rocking his huge chest remained familiar. “You want us, but you’re not quite ready.”
“I’m ready,” I protested. “I want you both. Today.”
Not even Slade could pick up hesitation in that statement. Still, he watched me in a way that indicated he saw the few nerves. “It’s normal to feel nervous the first time you sleep with someone.”
