I push her legs open, and when I see my come leaking out, it makes me want her all over again.
“What are you doing?” she asks.
I don’t answer and instead place a kiss on the inside of her thigh before wiping the towel over her, cleaning her off.
“Thank you,” she says, running her hand over my head.
“I’ll always take care of you, Brooke.”
I take her hands and pull her up. I lean down and grab her undies, shorts, and sweatshirt.
“Lift your arms.”
I pull her sweatshirt over her. Then I sit on the edge of the bed and slide her panties up her legs, then her shorts. Her arms rest on my shoulders.
I kiss her stomach over her clothes and look up at her. “Let’s go eat some pizza, wife.”
She brushes her hand over my head again. “I’m starving now.”
I pick her up as I stand. “Me too, baby. Me too.”
I kiss her as I open the door and then walk her out of my room.
I’m gonna make this girl fall hard, and I’m never gonna let her go.
CHAPTER
FIFTEEN
BROOKE
We’ve been home nowfor almost two weeks and fallen into a pretty normal routine. Classes are back in full swing, and I’ve been busy adjusting to my new schedule for the semester. Silas, who is also back in class, is training for the combine.
The days are going by kind of fast, and I feel like we only see each other sometimes at night when we fall into bed. We’ve gone on occasional dates to dinner when we can fit them in, but it’s been challenging to find time.
My last class of the day just ended. I’m heading out of the building, and I practically run into Eli as he comes out of one of the classrooms near the exit.
He stops walking and takes my elbow in his hand. “Brooke, hi.” He has a tentative smile on his face.
“Hi, Eli,” I sigh and roll my eyes, pulling my arm from his grasp.
“What have you been up to? How are you?”
“Honestly, I’m thriving.”
“Oh, really?” He huffs. “You don’t miss me at all?”
“Nope, not even a little. I actually forgot about you.” I smile at him. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go.”
“Ha! I’m not sure if I believe you. Come on, Brooke. I’ll walk with you back to your dorm so we can talk.”
“I’d rather you didn’t. And I’m not going to the dorm.”
“Let me guess. You’re going to the house.”
“Yep, I am. I actually live there now.” I walk down the stairs to the sidewalk.
“You’re kidding me?”
