He looks at me over her shoulder. “Make sure she has a good time?”

When he pulls away from her, I wrap an arm around her waist and pull her into me. “Absolutely. I got her.”

I reach my hand out for him to shake, and he takes it and pulls me in for a bro hug. “Keep her safe.”

“I got her.”

“Boss, let’s go.” He holds out his hand for Charlie to take. “Night, fuckers.”

“Bye, everyone. And, hey, congrats, guys. You all were amazing today,” Charlie says before they walk away.

“Hey, wait for us. We’ll walk out with you.” Casey clamps a hand on my shoulder. “See ya, man. B, have fun.” He winks at her.

Noelle hugs Brooke and says goodbye to us quickly as Casey ushers her away to join Beck and Charlie.

“And then there were two.” She looks up at me and smiles. “Do you want to stay here or move on?”

“It really doesn’t matter to me, as long as I’m with you.” I kiss the top of her head.

“Okay, well, I think I’m done dancing. I’m too young to gamble, and I think it’s too late to see any shows. I guess wecould walk around and maybe get a late-night snack.” She turns to face me, holding up Beck’s credit card and her ID.

“Yeah, that sounds fun. But put the card away. You won’t need it. I got you covered.”

“I don’t really have anywhere to put it though.” She runs a hand down her body.

Fuck me.

“I’ll put it in my wallet for you. Just remind me to give it back to your brother later. Let me have your phone to hold for you too.” I take it from her hand and pull out my Ridge wallet from my front pocket before tucking the cards in.

When we get into the elevator, she grabs my hand and twines her fingers with mine. I squeeze her hand lightly and look at our reflection in the mirror on the doors. She smiles, and I return it with a wink.

The doors open on the ground level, and it’s almost just as loud as the club upstairs. Machines are ringing, people are calling out numbers, and there’s cheering coming from the direction of the casino. I even see some of my teammates as we walk through. I nod and wave, but don’t stop to talk. I’m done sharing Brooke tonight. I have no doubt they’re wondering what I’m doing with Beck’s sister though. Especially with our hands linked.

“Where should we go?” she asks when we stop walking outside the hotel.

“Honestly, I don’t really know. This is my first time in Vegas.” I look down the street.

The neon and noise create the kind of electricity that makes stupid ideas seem … like good ones.

“Same. It’s getting late, and the only things I think I can do are go back to the club or a different one. Oh! We could try that Ferris wheel.” She smiles and tugs on my hand.

“Okay, we can head that way and see if we can get on.”

I signal the valet, and he walks over to us. “Can you get us a car to take us to the Ferris wheel?”

“Yes, sir.” He nods and jogs away, then waves down a car with an Uber sign in the window. He directs the car toward us and opens the door for us when it stops. Before he closes the door, he instructs the driver. “Take them to the High Roller.” Then he looks at us. “Have a good night.”

I take out some cash and hand it to him. “Thanks, man.”

“My pleasure. Come back and see us. And, sir, congratulations on your win tonight.” He nods, then closes the door.

“That was nice of him.” Brooke scoots closer to me once the car pulls away.

I smile down at her because she’s just so fucking sweet.

“Oh shoot. I gave you my phone right?” She drops her head back on the seat.

“Yeah, it’s in my pocket. Do you need it?” I pull it out of my pocket and hold it out to her.
