“I will do everything I can to protect you. I will level this entire realm for you, Nasiah. You are mine, baby. Nobody will take you from me.”
She licks her lips. “Don’t hurt me.” She moans as she continues to ride me.
I grab her ass with both hands and help lift her up and down my shaft.
“Never,” I groan as I feel her walls tighten. Her nails dig into my shoulders.
“Shit, I’m about to come again,” she shouts as she tosses her head back. Her orgasm rains down, soaking my lap.
Her tunnel squeezes my cock so much my vision blurs. I growl as I come so hard and so long it felt like I gave her all of me. When I’m done, I slump against the headboard. She leans on me, resting her head on my shoulder. I wrap my arms around her body.
“I meant what I said. I will protect you at all costs.”
She hums. “I trust you.”
I get that imaginary feeling of my heart beating. Having her trust made me feel like a fucking king. Gripping her ass in my hands, I lift her up slightly before rolling my hips up into her.
“Babe,” she whimpers.
“Shhh, let me have you.”
She quiets as I continue to fuck her from the bottom.
I had a lot of shit on my plate. Someone was fucking with my district, and now a muthafucker thought they would take my woman from me. I was about to be a busy forsaken.
But right now, I was going to bury all my concerns deep inside Nasiah all night.
chapter sixteen
Portal Two
Raziel
Three days after the drudge attack, portal two was officially back up and running. It took less time than we had initially thought. I’m happy to have the portal back up, but I’m still pissed I even had to do this shit. And I still don’t know who is responsible. Even with the portals fixed, it doesn’t solve the real issue. Someone is sabotaging me.
“I reinforced the spells and the symbols. This time, if anyone tries to tamper with them, it will leave an imprint, and we will know who is behind this,” Khiva says beside me.
Turning to her, I give her my full attention. “How much for something like that on all my portals?”
She shakes her head. “Keep your money, Raz. You’ve had my back since I walked through your portal thirty years ago battered and bruised. I’ll do it for free. I just need time to recoup.”
Casting powerful intricate spells takes a lot of druids. It’s one reason I pay Khiva so much for all that she does.
I dip my chin to my chest. “Thank you. Get your rest. I’m still going to pay you though.”
She chuckles and shakes her head before sobering. “The damage done to portal six is extensive. My friends and I are working hard to undo the spell placed on that one.”
I rub my chin. Having only one portal down isn’t the end of the world, but it also doesn’t look good.
“Do what you can when you can.”
A wave ripples through the void in front of me, letting me know someone is trying to enter. After all the shit I’ve been going through lately, I’ve been blocking the void around me.
“Someone is coming,” I tell Khiva. I know it isn’t anyone in my inner circle because they all have access to pass my blocks. “You should go. I’ll catch up with you later.”
I’m not hiding Khiva. I’m just very protective of those I consider family. Plus, everyone doesn’t need to know who I do business with.
She nods. “Okay, Boss. Call me if you need me.” Khiva heads up the stairs. She will slip through the void once she’s up there.
