“What we on?” he answered ready for whatever. I had to applaud Kong. He had this fuck nigga back to the fullest.

“Aye, you did what I asked?” Bentley questioned him.

“Yup. He had a bad lil’ bitch too. She cussed me out in Spanish before I chopped her head off.”

Angel!

“And the kid?” Bentley inquired.

Tears streamed down my face as soon as he mentioned Amada. She was the most innocent thing in my life. I covered my basis putting her and her mama up. They were never supposed to be found.

“I fed her to Sarabi and Nyla this morning. We good nigga. Where he at?” Kong countered.

“My fuckin’ daughter? You a bitch ass nigga!” I shouted.

“Damn, I thought I was the nigga you wanted to be. I thought I was the nigga you decided to betray for ten million fuckin’ dollars as if I wasn’t gon’ notice. I thought… I thought I was the nigga that broke you off so much muthafuckin bread that you and yo’ family was finally able to upgrade yo’ poor ass life. Am I not that nigga?” he asked firing off bullshit after bullshit.

Royce chuckled as he shook his head. “Boy, I ain’t never met a bigger dummy. Wait, yes the fuck I have. Walt’s bitch ass.”

“Walt was a fool that didn’t stick to the script,” I chimed. “I ain’t got time for all this. If you gon’ kill me, then kill me. Blood ain’t make us family no way so what the fuck you stalling for.”

“That is right, you is part of Bentayga’s bloodline. If he was unloyal as you say, you took that trait no doubt. Ungrateful and disloyal as fuck. Looks to me you walked in yo’ daddy footsteps without regret,” Bentley antagonized.

“Well, at least I actually got to meet my parents. Yours… yeah, I’ll see them in hell,” I voiced followed by a hearty laugh.

“You goddamn right you will, right along with yo’ hoes ass mama and sister.” Bentley unloaded the clip into my chest not missing a single time. I felt every burn from the bullets as life slipped away from me at a fast pace.

Everybody that meant something to me was gone due to my greed and relentless revenge. All I wanted was to make sure they was straight. I fucked over niggas to keep food on the table for them, to keep the bills paid, and the roofs steady. I was as good as a man, father, son, and brother as I could’ve ever been. I was the only man in their lives making that sacrifice.

I knew from the jump I was taking a risk going in as a narc. My agenda was for personal gain. I was doing this shit to get the respect back that Bentley never gave… that Bentayga never gave me and my mama. We were thrown to the side like trash and never thought of again.

When it came to leaving this shitty ass life, I knew it was gon’ be by my brotha’s hands. He was the only one that had the balls to do it and the only that had the right to. He took everything from me before I could the same to him. That get back was crazy.

As my vision became blurry, I watched my lil’ brother stand over me. With everything we been through, that bond was never created, and that revenge didn’t taste as sweet.

“I could’ve spared you, but you took this shit too far Enzo. I’ll see you in hell in due time nigga,” he said sending the final shot to my dome.

In due fuckin’ time.

There were a few things I ain’t let slide and when my parents were mentioned… Enzo might’ve shared partial DNA with a nigga, but he wasn’t worthy to carry my daddy’s name or blood. He was a wimp, a bum, and anything else you could think of. The nigga was less than a man, and I wanted him the fuck from ‘round me.

“Damn. I thought I was a ruthless ass nigga, but you got me beat cuzzo. Genesis, you aight? He almost put you on yo’ ass bruh,” Royce said laughing hard as hell.

“Fuck you, Royce. Twenty-One would’ve buried that nigga before he could swing back,” he spat.

“Nigga, you a grown ass man. I don’t understand why you let him hit you that damn hard. I mean, you was rockin’ but he was rollin’ too,” Royce taunted.

“Okay, you two. Yonnis, Royce, I want this cleaned up today. We have a business to run, and staff will be here first thing in the morning. Bentley Atkins, if I don’t see you again, it was nice meeting you. Your family is a bit much, but I think you’ll fit right in. Sorry for your loss behind your parents and grandmother. I wish you nothing but the best,” Yolani voiced.

She approached me with open arms, and I bent down to give her a hug. She was a cool ass chick. I truly applauded her for sticking around and not freaking the fuck out ‘bout the shit that just went down. She ain’t flinch, scream, or leave in shock. Royce and them must’ve did this kind of shit on the regular.

“’Preciate it, love. Thank you for being here,” I spoke gently. I had the utmost respect for women, especially the ones that knew how to carry themselves as a lady.

She offered me a light nod and was out the door. I took a seat at the table and waited for these fools to get they shit together. Yolani said it right; they were a bit much. However, it wasn’t shit I wasn’t used to. I actually welcomed the organized chaos. I like their vibes now that I was out and could experience their bonds without restriction.
