His whole body hunched forward, shoulders rounding and legs trembling as his fingers dug into my scalp. A deep groan, which he tried to conceal by biting his lip, ripped from him as his hot cum slid down my throat. I popped off his dick noisily and licked my lips, staring up at him. I smiled when our eyes met because I could see it. I’d somehow destroyed him. He barked out a sharp laugh and shook his head.

“That can’t have been your first time.”

“It was. But I just did what I like and hoped you’d like it too.”

“Fuck, I did,” he said, grabbing my jaw and pulling me to his lips. He kissed me long and slow, his tongue tangling with mine and tasting himself on me.

When we broke apart, I was ready for round two, but a knock on the bathroom door had me frozen. Our eyes widened. Panic swallowed any remaining desire. He shoved his cock back into his trousers and looked around for an escape route. It wouldn’t take a genius to figure out what was happening in here if two men came out of a locked bathroom together.

“I’ll go out the window. Circle back to the front and come in that way.”

I swallowed and nodded because what else could I say? This had been reckless and stupid. I never should have followed him in here. But I also couldn’t stop myself. I was addicted. Still,we couldn’t do this again. I needed more of him, not just stolen minutes in the men’s bathroom.

He reached for the window, opening it onto a fire escape that led down to a dark alley. The temptation to escape with him was strong, to run away into the night and leave everyone else behind. I grabbed his wrist just as he was about to put one foot through the window. He paused and looked back at me.

Merda, was I really going to do this? Was it too soon? But I had to find a way to make this work. This wasn’t enough.

“Here.” I pulled a card key from my wallet and handed it to him. He studied it with a puzzled look. “I want you to move into a building I own in the city. It’s the flat below the penthouse. I’ll message you the address.”

His frown deepened. “I have a house.”

“Well, now you have two.”

“You’re giving me an apartment?” he said, disbelief evident in his tone.

“I’m giving us a place. The penthouse above is mine. I stay there a few times a week when I have business in the city. No one will question my presence there.”

Realisation dawned on his handsome face.

“When you aren’t working, when you get off work at night, or when you want to see me, go to that apartment and let me know. I’ll be there.”

I couldn’t read his expression as he stared at the card key, then at me. He gave me a curt nod. Another, more urgent knock came on the door, and he slid it into his pocket. Without a word, he slipped out of the window and climbed down the steps.

I exhaled, wondering if I’d just scared him off by being too forward, but what choice did we have? I had to keep seeing him. And the men’s bathrooms were disgusting.

I yanked open the door and glared at the man waiting to use it. My fingers twitched at my sides, itching to draw my gun andkill him for interrupting us, but I forced myself to march past him. I took a seat at the table with Cami and Max, and after a few minutes, Finn slipped back into the room, retreating into the shadows to remain on guard but unseen. Except he was all I saw—the curve of his lips when his eyes met mine through the darkness. The way his hand slipped into his trouser pocket and clasped the key card. I licked my lips slowly, teasing him with the knowledge that I was still tasting where he’d been. His eyes narrowed, and he shook his head slightly, as if he were going to punish me for it, but he smiled. He fucking smiled, and I melted.

There was no denying it.

I was obsessed with Finn Rossetti.

Chapter ten

Present Day

“Enzo!” The excited screech from the mini-tornado hurtling towards me the moment I stepped into Alessio’s villa for our meeting made a big, goofy smile spread across my face. She remembered my name. She skidded to a halt just before crashing into my legs. Her bodyguard stood behind her with his hand on his gun and his eyes narrowed on me. Ignoring him, I crouched down.

“Are you the same Nerina I met last week, the one who drew me the most beautiful picture of a rainbow?”

She nodded enthusiastically.

“You can’t be. You are too grown-up! She was only this high!”

“It’s me!” She giggled, jumping up and down. “I’m four now! That’s why I’m bigger!”

I gasped, pressing a hand to my chest. “Oh, that must be why. Did you have a good birthday?”

“Si!I had a pony cake, and did you know, my room is magic.”
