I stare at him in shock. To have everything given to you and not do a thing… that sounds like heaven. What I would have done to have that on the space station.
Daddy wants to give me that.
I freeze at the thought, and Daddy stops running his hands up and down my back.
“Are you okay?” Daddy asks.
I lay back and pretend nothing has happened.
“Yes,” I whisper, lying through my teeth.
FOURTEEN
Knock. Knock. Knock.
I look at Daddy as he stands up from the couch.
“Kennel,” he commands.
I look at the kennel before staring at him. I don’t want to go to the kennel. He hasn’t made me go back in there since I told him to turn my translator off, and I’m not about to go back in.
“Adryn,” he growls. “Go into your kennel, now.”
I stay still as I glare at him. He hasn’t punished me since before the big incident, so he surely won’t punish me now.
“Kennel. Now,” he repeats, but I stay still.
“I don’t want to.” I sit on my naked bottom.
This is one of the times again when Daddy hasn’t put any clothes on me. It’s like he likes to look at me naked, and I can’t blame him. I like it when he looks at me naked. It makes me all tingly and wanting to play with myself.
Which I haven’t done. I haven’t been brave enough to touch myself, and I don’t know what the consequences will be if I do.
Daddy’s eyes narrow on me.“I’m giving you to the count of three to get in the kennel before you are in trouble.”
I don’t move an inch.
“One.”
I keep my bottom on the ground. He’s not actually going to get me in trouble.
“Two.”
Knock. Knock. Knock.
Daddy ignores the door and continues to look at me, raising his right eyebrow after a couple of seconds.
Ever since I thought of myself wanting to be taken care of and nothing else, and that Daddy wanted to do it, I’ve been rebelling. Not doing what Daddy tells me to do or hiding away from him. I need to put distance between us so he doesn’t get any ideas. I don’t need him to think about giving me away or returning me to the space station.
“Three.”
Nerves run through my body as he starts walking toward me, but I keep still in my spot. He’s only going to put me in the kennel and leave to answer the door to see who is there. Daddy didn’t mention anyone coming to visit this morning.
Daddy grabs me and hauls me into his arm. When Daddy answers it, Chale is in front of the door, his hand up like he was going to knock again.
“Ah, sorry. I didn’t mean to catch you at a bad time,” Chale says.
“Come in. You can sit on the couch. I need to deal with Adryn real quick,” Daddy replies.
