Raxx took the article of clothing in his hands and shot Faye a curious expression. “What am I supposed to do with this?”

“Cover your mouth with it.”

With his pulse racing, Raxx draped the silk material over his face. It smelt of the princess. Held it in place as Faye cautiously brought her face closer still.

“Hold it still,” Faye whispered and leant forward once more. Her bare breasts were two thick layers of leather away from his chest, but his skin tingled as if she was pressed directly against him.

“You have to tell me if this hurts.”

“If it’s even a fraction as painful as the previous times we’ve kissed, I won’t be able to suffer in silence, even if I wanted to,” Raxx replied, voice muffled by the silk.

Faye giggled and carefully angled her mouth over his, hesitating for a brief moment to make sure their skin wasn’t going to come into contact with each other, before pressing forward.

Their lips met through the soft material and they moaned in unison. It wasn’t like any kiss Raxx had ever had. He could barely breathe with the vest pulled tight against his mouth and nose, yet he couldn’t bring himself to care. They were forced to be soft, slow and chaste – unable to do anything else and yet it was the most erotic kiss he had ever experienced.

As Faye realised her kiss had brought him no pain, her eyes fluttered shut and her thighs tightened around his hips as she pressed herself tighter against him. He pushed his body up against her, delighting in the soft sigh he felt against his cheek.

Faye pulled away and smiled softly down at him. “I’ve wanted to do that since we met.”

“Infinitely better with the silk,” Raxx sighed. “Though I wish it wasn’t required.”

A thoughtful expression crossed her face and she nibbled her lip.

“What?” he asked, pulling the vest down off his chin.

“There’s something else I want. Will you take this off?” Faye plucked at his leather armour. “I’ve only seen you out of it once, and never bare.”

Raxx nodded and sat up. His fingers fumbled with the buttons on his tunic as he failed to pull his eyes from the princess’ breasts.

“Will you stop staring at me and focus on what you’re doing.” Faye laughed and crossed her arms across her chest.

“Sorry,” Raxx replied with a grin, turning his attention back to removing his chest armour.

Faye reached for her cotton undershirt and began pulling it back on.

“Hey, what’re you doing?” Raxx complained.

Faye laughed. “Well, one of us has to cover up before we can lay back down together. How about I make you a deal? You take off the shirt and I’ll take off the breeches?”

Raxx grinned. “Deal.”

He dropped his leather tunic next to Faye’s on the floor and began unbuttoning his own undershirt, revealing his bare chest.

Raxx wasn’t one for feeling bashful often, but with the faerie princess sat on her knees across from him, taking in every inch of skin he was baring to her, he couldn’t help but feel a little awkward.

“Why, oh why did I forget my gloves?” Faye cried, her fists balled tightly at her sides. Her eyes locked on the tattoo down his ribcage. “What do those symbols mean?”

“It’s a long story—”

“Tell me whilst I take these off,” Faye smirked, getting up on her knees to unbutton the fly of her breeches.

Raxx licked his lip thoughtfully. “You need a set of these symbols on each end of wherever you are teleporting to. These ones are tattooed on me, so I only ever have to worry about writing the second half of the incantation. It makes the process much quicker.”

“That makes sense. I used those to move us back to the cell last night.” Faye nodded.

“So, you already knew what they were?” Raxx asked curiously.

“No, I had no idea – I justknewI needed to use them somehow.” She shrugged.
