Ethan sighed and leaned in for one more kiss before turning to the hanging rack where his clothes were. Blayne looked over at the stand.
“How many outfits do you need?”
“We have six costume changes in this concert.”
“Six?”
“Yep. But I’m not even getting into my first costume yet. I must put on my meet-and-greet outfit.”
“You have a meet-and-greet outfit?”
“Doesn’t everyone?”
Blayne rolled his eyes as he sat down on the dressing room couch. He stretched his long arm across the back.
“God, you look fucking amazing,” Ethan said, fighting the urge to straddle Blayne and lay on a barrage of kisses.
“It’s growing on me. I admit, I wasn’t so sure about this. But I’ve received enough compliments already that I’m rethinking my fashion sense.”
“You had a fashion sense?” Ethan joked.
“Bitch.”
“Yes, but I’myourbitch.” Ethan rolled on a pair of socks before shimmying into his skinny jeans.
“I can practically tell your religion, those things are so tight.”
“You can see my religion any time you want, baby.”
Blayne licked his lips before biting on his lower one suggestively. “I can’t wait to reacquaint myself with your religion after the concert.”
“Tease.” Ethan was putting on his T-shirt when there was another knock on the door. “Come in.”
The door opened, and a team of three stylists walked into the room.
“Mr. Dickenson, if you’d come with me,” Lucas said, following the stylists into the room. “I’ll take you back to your friends.”
“Does he have to go?” Ethan said, already sitting in a chair in front of the vanity as one stylist plugged in a hairdryer.
“Yes,” Lucas said flatly. “The stylists need to do their jobs.”
Ethan wanted to whine but knew better. Despite how easy it was to fluster Lucas, he had a spine of steel regarding Ethan’s schedule.
“I’ll see you shortly,” Blayne said, who was already standing up from the sofa, ready to follow Lucas out.
Chapter Three
Blayne
Blayne looked back one last time as he exited the dressing room. He still couldn’t believe this was the life he was living. Inside, Blayne was still a small-town gay boy from West Texas. Now, he was dating one of the biggest names in music. Part of him wanted to pinch himself to see if he’d wake up from this fantastic dream.
“So, how long have you two known each other?” Lucas asked as they started walking through the tunnel system back to the greenroom.
“Not too long,” Blayne said in a noncommittal way. Outside of Blayne’s friendship circle and the inner circle of ZERO, no one else knew the actual nature of Ethan and Blayne’s relationship. Blayne assumed that Lucas had put two and two together and reached the correct conclusion. Ethan believed Lucas was utterly clueless and wanted his PA to stay that way, even though he’d admitted to Blayne that he loved messing with the poor kid.
“Did you hear he was listed as one of the most eligible bachelors in one of those teen magazines?” Lucas asked, eyeing Blayne for a reaction.
“Well, I’m sure Ethan will be officially taken off the dating market one day. But until then, we don’t want to break too many young girls’…and boys’ hearts, do we? With Orr’s engagement announcement the past month, I don’t think the world’s teen population could handle another disappointment this soon.”
