Hannah moved slowly, until she found her rhythm. Cole played with her breasts, tugging on the hardened peaks.
Hannah sighed as his hand reached down and he made tiny circles on her nub. Her breath hitched and her skin flushed as she increased her pace.
“I want you to come, Hannah. When you do, I’ll fill you,” he murmured as both got caught up in their passion.
Hannah moaned and closed her eyes. Her tongue swiped her bottom lip as she concentrated on the sounds around her. She heard Cole’s breathing and the slapping of their bodies. “Open your eyes, Hannah,” he coaxed.
Her eyes fluttered open as her lips parted. Cole’s hands encircled her waist, bringing her down harder against him. Hannah’s eyes grew wide and she panted as she went over the edge.
Cole watched her as she rode her way to pleasure, the sight becoming the most beautiful view he ever witnessed. Hannah’s walls tightened against him, and he called out her name as his orgasm hit.
Hannah lay against his chest, and he ran his hand down her hair, over her shoulders and down her back.
“You’re amazing, Hannah. I love you,” he whispered. “Are you all right?”
She raised her head and smiled at him as a single tear slid down her cheek. “I’m more than fine. You’re now mine.”
He kissed her lips. “I’ve always been yours, Hannah. I only waited for you to realize it, too.”
Hannah lifted herself off, and Cole took care of the condom as she went into the bathroom.
“Do you still feel like a movie?” she asked as she picked up her gown.
“I’m starved. Shall we eat first, then decide?”
He slipped the green material over her head. “Wear this for me. You’re stunning in it.”
She beamed with pleasure as she watched him slide into his pants. “Stay here,” he ordered as he went into the kitchen. When he returned, he held a tray with the pan of mac and cheese, two spoons, and the loaf of bread. He set it on the bed and returned with two drinks.
“Do you plan on eating in here?” she asked, surprised.
“Yes. Watching you seems like more fun than a movie. We can eat and then see what we feel like doing.”
“But you forgot the sides,” she pointed out.
Cole grinned as his hand went up her leg. “Oh, no, I have a different side in mind.”
Hannah giggled as she fed him a spoonful of the gooey pasta. Her day started in chaos, but it ended in peace and love. Brody and Brownie sat next to the bed and she gazed down at them. She’d swear Brody winked and smiled at her.
CHAPTER 36
The next morning,Cole rolled over to find Hannah’s side empty.
He jumped from the bed and entered the living room. He saw her outside with Brody and Brownie playing in the snow.
Her green eyes sparkled with laughter as she threw the ball, watching the dogs leap in the snow to fetch it.
He went into the kitchen, made a pot of coffee, and put a package of cinnamon rolls in the oven to warm. He shrugged on his coat and went outside. When she saw him, she called to the dogs and ran through the snow, toppling him over onto the cold, wet fluff.
“Good morning,” she greeted him.
“Good morning, beautiful,” he said, kissing her.
“We’re snowed in. Leo says to stay put. They’re plowing the main roads on the mountain and it’ll be late by the time they get to us,” she explained.
“What will we do with all the time on our hands?” he teased.
“It’s close to Christmas. I’ve never liked waiting to open gifts,” she replied as she kissed him. “Last one inside gets to make breakfast,” she called and took off running toward the porch.
