When they got to the cells where Emma and Simon were, Miss Amy stepped up.“So, this is where you two end up.”
They looked over at her and the both of them nearly growled at her.
“What are you doing here?”Simon seethed at them.
“Yeah, you here to gloat?”Emma added.
Miss Amy smirked.“As a matter of fact, I am here to do just that.After you came and attacked us, I wanted to wait until you were locked up to finally share this news with you.”She stepped closer and reached to her neck to hold out the pendant.“I wanted to show you this.”
In each cell, they got up and came over to hold onto the bars.
Staring at the expensive necklace, Emma gasped.“That’s real gold?”
“And real diamonds?”Simon added.
“As real as it gets.”Miss Amy grinned at them.“The treasure is real and while you are stuck in here, we are gonna go get it.”
“What?”Simon braked.“You lied about that for all these years?”he shouted in rage.
“Sure, I did.”Miss Amy nodded.“We are from the same family, remember?So why can’t I grab it and split it with the MC who has protected me so well recently?”
“You dirty betrayer!”Emma shouted.
“We are family, woman!”Simon exclaimed with a growl.
“You ain’t never been family to me,” Miss Amy spat.“When did I ever get a visit?A call at Christmas or any kind of family feeling?”
They stared at her.
“NEVER!”she shouted at them.“So, now’s not the time to act like you are family.I just wanted to make sure you knew why I am doing this.You are both vile, foul horrible excuses for human beings and you deserve to rot in jail” Flipping around, Miss Amy walked over to Asa and Cheyenne and gave them a wink.“Now, let’s go get the map and head for our gold!”Leaning her head back, she cackled like an old witch.
Nodding at her, Cheyenne and Asa went along with it even as their eyes had widened at Miss Amy’s wholeole greedy witchact.
Chapter Seven
Patsy moved closerto the clubhouse and she studied the outside of the building.Her mom had told her Miss Amy was staying here and if anyone had the map she would.She also told her that Miss Amy would keep the map as close to her as possible.Grandpa Simon had growled about getting that map and hunting down the place marked with an x.
