"You did no such thing," Ash assured him, grinning again. "Pretty sure I can't imagine your first blow job going any other way." Then he leaned in. "And it was pretty good for me."
"So, am I still vanilla?"
"Not a damned thing wrong with vanilla, Luke," Cy assured him. "But no. I think you've moved up a bit. Pretty sure sucking off some guy in front of your girlfriend counts as a little kinky."
"And hot," I assured him. "Very, very hot - even with the surprise ending."
"Least there's that." And he wrapped his arm around Ash's side. "And to think, I was just coming in to make sure you both ate lunch."
"So, who's helping me cook?" Cy asked, looking right at Ash. "C'mon, pretty boy. You got your rocks off, so now you get to work for it."
Ash moved around Luke, pausing to kiss the side of his neck. "I can do that. Damn, I love you three."
Right on cue, all of us smiled. This? It was perfect. Completely perfect, and I couldn't imagine anything better.
Chapter Forty-One
That afternoon, I had to pick up Faith after her detention. I may have gone out of my way to kiss all three of my lovers - I could call them that now - before I left, knowing I had to be good again when I got home. But when I pulled into the school parking lot, the kids were already out and waiting in front of the building.
Zeke was a lean and lanky kid. His hair was painfully blonde, and so pale I wondered if he bleached it. Then again, his bright blue eyes made me think it might just be natural. His mom had light hair too, but notthatfucking light. Combined with the black clothes the kid seemed to always wear, it was even more striking.
Like most young boys, his feet were too big, his legs too skinny, and he looked like his parts didn't quite fit together. I remembered that age, and I'd hated it. My voice had been cracking, and zits would hit him soon. The girls were all starting to get boobs, but the boys were just becoming messes, and it wasn't a pretty time.
Faith spotted the truck, though, and grabbed Zeke's hand. The boy smiled, picked up his bag, then let her pull him along. Naturally, my daughter pushed him toward the passenger seat, then climbed into the back herself. I waited until the kid was in, had his seatbelt buckled, then turned and offered my hand.
"Luke, Faith's dad."
He took it, seeming a little shocked. "Hey, um, Zeke."
"So I heard." I tilted my head a bit, looking at the side of his face. "Also looks like that got a little darker. Figure you took it for my kid, so that makes you a good guy in my book."
"Faith said she told you I'm gay," he blurted out.
"Yep," I agreed. "What's that got to do with anything?"
I watched as the kid swallowed nervously. "I just, um, I wasn't trying to be cool or anything. I just know that she's trying not to get in trouble. She says she has to last a month so she can stay with you."
Oh, my fucking heart swelled with pride. For both of them, if I was honest. "Yeah, custody fight. Her mom and I both want her to live with us. Still makes you a good man in my eyes for stepping in."
The kid looked down at his legs, but I still caught the smile. Oh, he was a far cry from a man, but I remembered how much that word had meant to me at that age. Being a good one? Even better. Considering that I knew this guy didn't have a dad around to tell him that, well, I didn't mind saying it out loud.
"So, you gotta tell me where you live," I pointed out as I backed my truck out of the parking lot.
"Mayfield Trailer Park," he said. "It's kinda a dump, though. Not like Southwind." So I headed that way.
"I told you," Faith said, leaning forward to peer between the seats, "Dad used to have a crappy trailer too."
"Moved in with my girlfriend, and her best friend gave me a job," I explained. "So, you in the eighth grade too, Zeke?"
"Yes, sir," he said. "In a few classes with Faith."
"Well, I already talked to your mom about if you need a ride. My job makes it easy to sneak out for a bit."
"What do you do?" Zeke asked.
I chuckled. "Um, I take care of the horses, cut the hay, and keep the farm running. We're getting the place ready to open back up and start taking in kids who need a second chance."
"Think Zeke can go to school there too?" Faith asked, the hope dripping from her words.
