Before he couldsay anything else, his phone buzzed on the counter. He glanced down and said,“It’s Gina.”
“Take it.”
Picking it up,he pulled me closer, and answered the call. “Hey, Doc. Daisy’s with me, I’mgoing to put you on speaker, is that okay?” He smiled, and set the phone on thecounter again, putting the phone on speaker. “Okay, you’re on speaker.”
“Hi Daisy.”
“Hi, Gina, howare you?”
“I’m great. Ihave some news on your images, Huck. Are you okay with Daisy hearing what Ihave to tell you?”
“Yep, all good,”he said. “How bad are they?”
“Actually,they’ve improved since your first set. You’ve been doing some great work.”
“Thanks.”
“Dr. Patel hasan opening in his schedule on Friday morning, are you available?”
“Yes,absolutely,” he said.
“Fantastic.Would you like me to be there with you? I don’t have to be but am happy to makemyself available if you’d like.”
“Ah, wow, yeah,that would be great, if you have the time.”
“I will make thetime,” Gina said. “I’ll text you all of the details and they will also be inyour chart. If Daisy comes with you, maybe we can grab lunch after.”
“I willdefinitely be there,” I said. “And it’s a date.”
“Perfect. I’llsee you both on Friday. Bye.”
She hung up andHuck grinned. “See? Even your extended family is fucking awesome.”
“Oh, I’m aware.”
He squeezed myhip. “What do you want to do now, beautiful?”
“I want you tofuck me. Duh,” I sassed.
“How do you wantme to fuck you, Daisy?”
“Filthy, Huck.”
“Feel likeplaying a little?”
I clapped my handsand nodded. “Oh my god, yes, please.”
“Get naked,” heordered. “Then bend over the bench at the end of your bed. Spread those legswide, and don’t say a word.”
I didn’thesitate to do as he demanded, leaving a trail of clothing in my wake.
