“He’s in hisoffice I think,” she said distractedly, trying to straighten the leaning towerof donuts.

I left her toher chore and headed down the hall to my president’s office, knocking on theclosed door.

“Come in,” Hatchcalled, and I stepped inside finding him with his feet up on the desk, smilingat Harmony Quinn.

Harmony wasmarried to Jaxon Quinn, the biological brother of two of my club brothers, Aceand Knight. Jax was FBI, but he was good people, and although he was aby-the-book lawman, he knew when to keep his distance from club business whichkept us in his good graces.

“Train!” sheexclaimed, jumping to her feet, and rushing to hug me.

“Hey,sweetheart, where’s your man?”

“It’s Quinnbrother manly-man time,” she said.

I gave her achin lift. The Quinn brothers made it a point to get together once a month forgames, beers, 80’s action movies. It was strictly no chicks allowed, so thewives usually hung out over at Ace’s place.

I glanced atHatch. “You texted you needed me, but I can come back if you two are busy.”

“The text was onmy behalf, actually,” Harmony said.

I cocked myhead. “You coulda just called me direct, sweetheart.”

“No, shecouldn’t,” Hatch countered, and Harmony grimaced. “Trying to keep this as quietas possible for now.”

“Uh oh. Thatdoesn’t sound good,” I said.

Hatch waved tothe chair next to Harmony. “Have a seat.”

I closed thedoor and sat down, waiting for Harmony to sit beside me.

“I need yourhelp,” Harmony said.

“Anything. Youknow that,” I said.

She flashed anuneasy smile. “You know my sister, Melody?”

“Um, yeah,” Isaid with a chuckle.

Harmony’ssister, Melody Morgan, was one of the biggest pop stars in the world and anotorious whirling dervish of chaos. I’d never met her, but from the storiesI’d heard in the media and from Harmony herself, she seemed like a realhandful. Honestly, I had a hard time understanding how Harmony and their othersister, Lyric, dealt with her. They were so even keeled, and their famoussister was more like the Titanic.

“Melody is aboutto start her next tour,” Harmony said. “But she’s got a bit of a problem.”

“I thought youdidn’t work for your sister anymore.”

“I don’t, butshe’s asked for my assistance with something sensitive and I thought you mightbe able to help.”

“Me?” I wascompletely puzzled as to how I could possibly help a mega-star whom I’d nevermet.

“I’ll tell youbut first I need you to sign this,” Harmony said, pointing to a document onHatch’s desk.

“What’s this?”

“Anon-disclosure agreement,” she said, handing me a pen.

“You want me tosign an NDA?” I chuckled. “Are you serious?”

“I already gaveher my John Hancock,” Hatch said.

“Why doeseverything you say sound dirty?” Harmony teased.
