Present day…
THE POWER THAT Orion’s dick has over my body is probably unhealthy.
This thought fluttered through my mind as he slammed into me from behind and I came hard and fast, like I always did.
“Fuck,” he breathed out as his cock pulsed inside of me and he rolled us onto our sides, still connected, kissing the nape of my neck. “I’m kind of addicted to you, Razz.”
I sighed. “Ditto.”
There hadn’t been a night we weren’t together since our first date at Smiley’s. This was a problem. Mostly because I couldn’t get enough of him, and I was way behind on my thesis and research due to that fact. I’d also failed my microbiology exam and had to beg for a chance to retake the test. Not that it mattered, I was pretty sure I’d fail the retest too.
This was supposed to be a friends-with-benefits arrangement, but we couldn’t seem to take a break from each other, and I was finding it overwhelming.
He slid out of me and I rolled to face him. “I need to get this thesis written.”
“What’s stopping you?” he challenged.
“Your dick is.”
He grinned, sliding a lock of my hair behind my ear. “You’re good for my ego, baby.”
“I need you to do me a favor.”
“Okay,” he said in suspicion.
“I need you to stay away for three days. Even if I beg, you have to leave my vagina alone.”
He laughed. “Not sure I can handle you begging.”
I ran my finger between his pecs, tracing the Primal Howlers logo tattooed across his chest. “I know, but you have to resist my call. Can you do that?”
He frowned. “You’re serious.”
“As a heart attack,” I ground out. “I’m failing two classes, and my research is junk right now. My dad’s gonna hit the roof if I can’t get these grades pulled up.”
“Do you always care about what your dad thinks?”
“He’s paying for my education, so abso-fucking-lutely.”
“I have a feeling you’d care even if he wasn’t.”
“And what’s wrong with that?” I snapped, sitting up and sliding off the bed. “My parents are amazing. I get that you can write your dad off with a single thought, but I can’t do that to mine.”
“It appears I hit a nerve.” He rolled onto his back and dragged his hands down his face. “No need to get all worked up about it, Frazzle. I was just makin’ an observation.”
“That’sRazzleto you.”
“Not when you’re this wound up, it’s not,” he retorted.
I let out a frustrated squeak and stomped into my bathroom.
“Are you picking a fight with me on purpose?” he asked, crossing his arms and leaning against the doorframe.
“I’m not picking a fight,” I countered as I started the shower. “You’re being an asshole.”
“Okay, Princess, I’m being an asshole.” He raised his hands in surrender. “I’ll go ahead and leave now, so you don’t have to deal with my assholery.”
