As we left the house headed back to the car, I sent the video to Amy. Within minutes she sent her reply. Thanking us for doing a hell of a good job.

“Another satisfied customer,” I chuckled, getting into the car.

“That was fun. We should do it again. I could get used to this. Working together.” Dom pulled me in for a wicked hot kiss that had me quivering from my head to my toes.

“We make a pretty good team.” Starting the engine, I pulled a U-turn in the middle of the street, heading back the way we’d come. “Maybe next time you can show me how the organ trade works.”

As we coasted through the city streets, I thought about how we could’ve been doing this all along. Working together. Being together. We were a hell of a good match in every way.

It sucked to think about how long we’d been feuding when we could’ve been doing this instead. I was grateful that we both came to our senses and realized we were completely smitten with one another.

Better late than never.

EPILOGUE

DOM

We hadn’t hosted a graveyard party in several weeks. The winter had finally given way to spring. Although it was far from warm, and we still had the occasional snowfall, the deep winter chill that settled in one’s bones had dispersed. Warmer days were ahead. It wouldn’t be long before the grass turned green and plant life bloomed once again.

Spring break was generally regarded as a time to party. To welcome in the warmer nights while kissing winter goodbye. Tonight’s party would make Damon and Noah an official part of the Kings. Everyone would know. Everything would now change for the better.

I doubted it would be much of a surprise to those who knew us. Noah and I had made no attempt to hide our relationship. We were crazy in love and didn’t care who knew. People on campus had seen us together. We were rarely apart these days.

We spent so much time together that Noah had broached the subject of moving in together. Since he didn’t want to abandon Damon on short notice, and I didn’t want to rush anything, we were taking it slow. Making our plans to be together without forcing anything to happen too quickly.

More than anything I wanted to be with him every day and night. However, I also wanted to do this properly. One day at a time. We already spent every night together, either at his house or mine. I had started browsing rental listings though, trying to find the perfect place for us.

“Fucking sucks that we lost the church.” Auryn stared at the place where the small building used to be.

Not even rubble remained. The city had the mess cleaned up. The graveyard was still ours. That wouldn’t change.

“Is it really the church you miss? Or the space heater?” I nudged him with an elbow and grinned.

He lifted a plastic cup of Jack and Coke to his lips. His dark gaze flitted around the graveyard, checking out the ladies. “Hey, I’m not the only one who benefitted from that space heater. Don’t pretend you didn’t love it.”

“I’ll definitely miss the church,” Noah joined in. He stood next to me with a drink in one hand, a joint in the other. “Dom and I made some good memories there.”

Auryn’s mouth dropped open as he gaped at Noah. “You violated the sanctity of my church? How dare you?”

Noah’s devious chuckle went straight to my cock. Another drink or two and I would be ready to bend him over one of these headstones. I didn’t care who saw.

“Don’t pretend you’re so pure. I know you fucked in that church more than I have.” I gave Auryn a playful shove.

Stray jumped in to have my back. “Damn right. I lost count of how many times I walked in there to find Auryn fucking one of the cheerleaders.”

“There was also that time I caught him with two girls on the back pew,” Rebel added.

Each of our friends recounted a similar story. Soon Auryn was protesting with both hands raised. “All right all right, you’vemade your point. I’m a shameless slut. Now speaking of which, I am off to find someone to put my dick in tonight.”

As he spoke, his gaze wandered across the graveyard to where the girls were gathered in a group. Rebel’s wife along with Codie and Casper’s girlfriend Luna. Two more of their friends that I didn’t know all that well. Ripley and Athena. He seemed to be fixated on the blonde. Ripley.

That was confirmed when Stray smacked him in the arm, pointing a finger in his face. “Don’t you dare. Stay away from Ripley. If you use one of Codie’s friends for a one night stand, I’ll hold you down and let them castrate you.”

Auryn rolled his eyes. “God you’ve changed. You used to be my wingman. What a fucking shame.”

He broke away from the group, going in search of a woman willing to be his conquest for the night. It wasn’t all that long ago that I’d done the same. Seeking out a partner for the occasional quick thrill. Although I hadn’t done it nearly as frequently as Auryn. I didn’t miss it.

The rest of the group gradually scattered. Rebel, Casper, and Stray made their way over to their other halves. Damon took his leave as well, letting one of the university’s hockey players draw him into a drinking game with several others.
