Because I loved her dangerously, my plans needed to go into play tonight. She was goin’ to be pissed, but she would be safe and unharmed. That was my only concern.
I slipped out of bed and got dressed as quickly as I could. The sexual activities we performed put her in a coma. She hadn’t moved since she closed her eyes. I was thankful for that.
“I love y’all, mama. A few days, that’s all I ask.”
A kiss was placed on her temple before I detached our souls temporarily. Christian was who she fell in love with, but Hades was who would take over once I was on the other side of that door.
I was able to creep my way through the house without waking Granny up… or so I thought. It was three in the morning, and she was wide awake. She was sitting at the kitchen table sipping on hot tea. I believed she was waiting for me.
“That girl about to go through hell to get to you. Are you sure you want to do this?” she asked.
“This my family. Journei may be her wife legally, but that’s all me. Her mind, body, and soul belonged to me from the moment I laid eyes on her. That bitch knew what it was. I’m the intended target, not Journei.”
“Well, hello to you too, Hades. I had a feeling that was you. Like I told you when you were a boy, handle your business, show no mercy, and get yo’ black tail self back home so I don’t worry. Take them girls with you.”
I chuckled as she exited the kitchen. My granny knew every soul I collected and didn’t judge me. I had her approval to unleash the underworld, so the gates were officially open.
Alexis
The time had come for me to get my wife back and take that bum ass nigga Gills off the map. Kégo and a few men they brought over were kidnapping him tonight, which I was thrilled about. He caused problems in my life that I didn’t need. Then they were ones that couldn’t get overlooked, so it was time for him to go.
It was one thing to sleep with someone’s wife, but to get her pregnant was disrespect on a different level. That bastard ass baby she was carryin’ wouldn’t make it another twenty-four hours either.
There were two plans in play for Journei gettin’ rid of that abomination she thought she was having. One was to have her take the abortion pills or let Kégo and his men beat on her a lil’. Either way, it was gettin’ the fuck up out of her.
Galleria had been on my ass lately about wanting to kill Journei. No disrespect to Diego, but his daughter was goin’ to end up spread across the Mississippi River some-damn-where fuckin’ with me.
I didn’t give a fuck on how she felt about Journei. My wife wasn’t dying by nobody’s hands but mine. I loved Galleria, but Iwas in love with Journei. That outweighed anything I had goin’ on with her.
I put Kégo on Gills to find out his whereabouts, and he came back with information for me within a few days. I knew that was the best move ’cause my tech man wasn’t hittin’ on shit.
His cologne was smelled before he was seen. Diego had entered my office with Kégo by his side.
Both men were dressed comely in all black. While Diego sported more of a fitted suit, his son had me ready to cum with the thuggish look he chose.
I cleared my throat and caught the ancillary saliva he had me produce while watching him walk around my office. That man was a sight to fuckin’ see, and he knew it.
“Is it a go or what? I got somethin’ I’m tryin to slide in before the night’s ova,” Kégo spoke first.
His comment copped a squat right up under my skin. Jealousy coursed through my veins, and whoever the lucky bitch was almost made it to my list. I shoved the thought away and answered him.
“Yeah. Your boys got here almost twenty minutes ago. Stick to the plan. Me and your dad will be here waiting.”
“Bet. Can y’all order some food or somethin’ before I get back? I’m a lil’ famished.”
I laughed at his comment as I crossed my legs. Humor was found in his words, but they were also enticing. I had plenty for him to eat and then some.
“I’ll feed you, Kégo.” I flirted.
“Ha! I’m already knowin’,” he replied with a wink. “I’ll catch y’all in a few.” He walked out, and my eyes stayed on him longer than I planned them to.
“Don’t be that girl, Alexis. You’re sleeping with my daughter already. Leave my son alone.” Diego gave his two cents on me and his son’s encounter.
I denied what he so bluntly exposed. “I don’t know what you’re talkin’ about, old man. Galleria is my priority and only concern.” My lie wasn’t believable at all.
“If she was your only concern, then this Gills guy wouldn’t be gettin’ escorted to his own funeral now, would he? I’ll be at the bottom makin’ sure everything is covered.” He sauntered out the door and left me in my head.
I was too far in to stop now. Gills had to go, and if I had to turn the tables and take them out as well, then so be it. Journei was irreplaceable, and his daughter was to pass the time.
