“Would you like more?”

“Sure, it’s not like I have far to go,” he laughs. “Although my track record isn’t that good when I’m sober, so it could go either way.”

“I’ll just have to make sure I walk you to your door,” I say as we clink glasses.

We both seem to get lost in the food. It didn’t turn out that bad. I could mark it in the win column.

“So how has work been?” he asks.

“Great! I got to do a few tattoos today. Fuck, it felt so good to feel the needle vibrating beneath my fingertips. The clients seemed happy with the finished result, which makes everything so much better.” The smile on my face has to look goofy with as big as I’m grinning.

Dom has been helpful, teaching me things I never knew about, always willing to share the flow of information.

“Have you ever thought about getting a tattoo?” I ask, but part of me never wants him to mar his delicate skin.

“I thought about it once, but I don’t know if I can handle the pain. I stub my toe and I think I’m dying… but maybe someday.”

“How was the store today? Did you have good business?”

Spencer wipes his mouth with a napkin before setting it on his now empty pasta plate.

“I’m so full,” he groans. “Again, it was delicious. Yeah, it was a decent day. Mr. Jacobson finally made it in to pick up the book he ordered and Ms. Wilson bought a whole stack of books. She always does when she picks up her monthly romance novel. Like if it’s sandwiched between a bunch of other books, no one will ever know.”

He looks at me with curiosity, before his eyes begin to sparkle with mischief. “Are you finished?” he asks, nodding to my plate.

“Yes,” I say, raising an eyebrow in question.

He gets up from the table and grabs my hand, pulling me towards the door. “Where are we going?” I say, laughing as I put my shoes on.

“You’ll see.” He winks. He fucking winks, ladies and gentlemen.

Standing in front of the old building next to Dragonfly Books, I wrap my arms around Spencer’s waist, nuzzling my face in his neck. I inhale a deep breath, taking in his scent. “I didn’t think breaking and entering would look so sexy on you, but damn, I’m so turned on right now.”

“It’s because I actually have a key, isn’t it?” he chuckles.

“Yes, and it seems like you’re having issues getting it in the hole.”

I suck and lick at the crook of his neck. My dick nestled nicely against his tight, devilishly round ass.

“Mmm, maybe it’s because your lips are distracting me,” he says, while angling his head to give me better access.

Finally, the click of the key turning and a gentle shove from Spencer opens the door, leaving me somewhere between dazed and… definitely, not confused, more like obsessed.

Spencer walks to the middle of the room, still not saying anything, just looking around. It’s old, smells, and has a 2-inch layer of dust over everything, but the excitement that is radiating off of him tells me a different story. His grin slowly widens before he lands on me with the brightest smile I’ve ever seen.

“I bought this building!”

CHAPTER15

Spencer

I knowwhat it looks like. It’s dark, dingy and covered in dust, but I can see the potential. Oh, who am I kidding? I have to make this location work.

I spin around, trying to take it all in. The excitement bubbling up from my bouncing toes.

“I bought this building!” I finally squeal.
