His thumb wipes away a small tear that went rogue.Fuck!
“I’m alright, really. Tonight was a bit of an emotional roller coaster and my brain is trying to catch up.”
He nods. I can only hope in understanding.
Finn’s spent dick swaying in front of me as he cleans up our combined release has my dick wanting to rally. The warm damp washcloth moves over my stomach and chest, cleaning up the now cold, sticky mess before he slides my panties up and tucks my now semi soft cock into the silk.
When I lick my lips and groan, Finn eyes me, knowing exactly what’s on my mind. He laughs as he goes and throws the towel into the hamper before putting back on his boxer briefs.
I know it’s late, but I don’t want the night to end. This is where my awkwardness shines through. How do I ask him to stay without seeming needy? I could use some company tonight to help distract my ever chasing mind.
“You know,” he says while pulling his jeans up, “I watched a few episodes of Doctor Who last night.”
“Oh, really?” My interest peaked. “And what did you think?”
“Eh, it’s okay.”
“What?” I say exasperated. “It's not justokay!”
When his smile breaks through, I throw a pillow at his head, laughing.
“You just haven’t met the right Doctor yet.” He looks at me with confusion. Oh, he will find out soon enough.
“How about, if you’re not too tired, we watch a couple of episodes?” Finn asks.
I breathe a sigh of relief. “Yeah, that sounds good.”
“I’m going to run over and grab some sweats. Do you have popcorn?”
“That I do; I’ll make some.”
Finn pulls his shirt back on and I sigh…. “Did you have to?”
He laughs as he leans in for a kiss. “I still have to technically walk outside and it’s cold and wet out.”
“Fine.”
CHAPTER12
Finn
The soundof the click when I closed the door to my apartment was like a switch being flipped, but in the wrong direction. Spencer’s place is warm and has a cozy feeling. My place, although Jaxon has decorated nicely, was making me feel cold and lonely in contrast.
There are only a few things that are important to me. The day I left, I brought them over to Beckett’s, and he agreed to ship them here. According to the tracking, everything will arrive in a couple of days. Maybe once I add some of my own stuff, what little I have, I’ll feel better.
Eager to get back to the warmth, I head to the bathroom to piss and freshen up. I catch my reflection in the mirror and see red, swollen kissed lips. My mind goes right to Spencer and I smile. This man is adorkable, and sexy all at the same time. He is so unlike anyone I have ever met before. He intrigues me. The kind of people who surrounded my life before were not well educated business owners. No, they were people who skirted the line between good and bad. Never quite reaching the good.
I put my hair up and brush my teeth before heading over to the dresser and pulling out a pair of gray sweatpants—I have many—and a white tee shirt, the standard lounge attire. Then I head back over to Spencer’s.
I’m about to knock on his door when I hear what sounds like singing coming from the other side. It takes me a moment to recognize Born This Way by Lady Gaga. That makes me grin like a fool. I know he was feeling down on himself today. His ex was a piece of shit. But I loved seeing him take his confidence back. Spencer knows who he is, and I don’t think he is gonna back down.
A man who owns who he is, is the sexiest kind of man.
Knocking lightly, I open the door. The first thing I see is Gallifrey sitting on the kitchen island, eyes wide as saucers, with his head tilted. I turn the corner and see why. There is Spencer owning his world. He has on silk shorts and a matching silk pajama top. He has a spatula in one hand and he is shaking his ass to the beat of the music. When he raises his arms to sway above his head, I get a glimpse of his tight stomach and smooth pale skin. He is so incredibly sexy!
When he finally spots me, he yelps and jumps in the air. Unfortunately, his landing is not so smooth. He hits the chair and falls forward before I reach out and grab him, pulling him close. The sound of the full, beautiful laugh that leaves him will forever be burned in my brain. Then his hands come up to cover his face.
“Oh god, how much did you see?”
