“Hey Spencey,” Jasper says, picking him up in a hug too tight for my liking, then setting him back down. A low growl leaves me, and Jasper chuckles.

“Are you ready to lose, Jasper?” he says with a tilt of his head.

A hearty laugh escapes me. Ooh, I think I’m about to see a competitive Spencer, trash talk and all.

“So, how good are you?” I ask, while reaching around his all too tempting body to grab a pool cue.

“I can hold my own,” he says.

“Don’t let him fool you. He has his favorite stick and everything,” Jasper says, racking the balls. “He’s a pool shark!”

“Is that so?” I say. “How about a friendly wager?”

Spencer leans back against my chest, tilting his head to whisper in my ear, “Are you sure about that?” The wink at the end nearly undoes me. I like seeing this playful side of him.

I place my hand around his waist, pulling him tighter to me; I lean in. “I think I can manage.”

Dom comes back with fresh drinks and a tray full of shots. “Same rule as always boys… You miss, you take a shot.”What did I get myself into?“Teams are me and Finn against Jasper and Spencer,” Dom says, walking around the table. “You better be good, otherwise we’re fucked.”

I laugh. Yeah, we’re fucked.

Jasper breaks the balls with a loud crack. They fly across the table, sinking solid right away. He calls his second shot in the corner pocket and drops it in with ease. As he lines up his next shot, he misses.

Spencer grabs a shot, handing it to him. “Drink up buttercup!”

He throws it back with a wince.

“Do you need some training wheels with that?” Spencer says, patting his back, causing both Dom and me to laugh.

I’m next, roaming around the table, trying to find a good shot. When I see it, I call stripe into the right corner pocket.

Bending down to line up my shot, I look up to see Spencer leaning against the table right in my line of sight. Just as I’m about to take my shot, he drops his cue and bends down to pick it up. I get the most spectacular view of his tight ass. My shot goes crazy and lands nowhere near the ball.Fuck!

Spencer stands back up and winks at me.He fucking winks at me!Oh, that sneaky boy. I see how we are playing this.

Spencer’s up next. I play it cool, hanging off to the side. Not willing to show my hand this round. He keeps looking over at me, like he is waiting for me to retaliate. Spencer sinks two more balls before he finally misses. He stares me down as he throws back a shot. I grin and then wink.

Dom finally gets us on the board, sinking three. We high five, like we are ten, and laugh like idiots. Jasper’s back up, but just as he is about to take his shot, Olly comes through the door of the bar looking frazzled, and he misses the shot completely.

“Hey guys, sorry I’m late. Listen so…” his hands flail all over the place. “Umm, I might have just locked my keys in my car and was wondering…”

“Wow, twice in the same week. This is new, even for you,” Jasper says, grabbing his coat. “Come on, I'll take care of it.”

“I was rushing to grab the pie.”

Jasper stops. “Pie? You brought pie?”

“Yeah, umm, banana cream.”

A smile appears on Jasper’s face. “My favorite… Alright, let’s go save this pie!”

“That lock doesn’t stand a chance,” Jaxon says. “I’ll take his spot.”

Alex has been quietly sipping on his drink in the corner but almost falls off his chair when Jaxon comes to stand by him. Jaxon catches him, and I’m pretty sure he just blushed.I wonder how many he’s had?

We start the game back up and I’m up. This time when I feel Spencer’s hand ghost my lower back I’m prepared for it. I sink two more shots before succumbing to his tricks.

When it’s his turn, I go in for the kill.
