The next moment, Ellie was in her wife’s arms, and they were walking across the threshold of their home in Crenshaw.

“Hestia will stay at the castle while we get settled,” Prospero said.

Ellie rested her head on Prospero’s shoulder. “I’m the luckiest witch ever.”

“Why don’t you rest a bit?” Prospero suggested. “It’s been an exciting day, and you’ll have a lot of work to do on the rift this week. Plus more classes at the castle…”

Ellie sighed contentedly. “I can’t believe we got permission to marry before I even finished at the college!”

Her new wife said nothing, simply gave her a small, tight smile, but Prospero was probably exhausted, too.A whirlwind romance and wedding tended to do that, and fitting around classes at the college…?

“Why don’t webothrest a while?” Ellie caught Prospero’s hand and led her to their bedroom. “Come nap with me, wife.”

Crenshaw had made Ellie’s every dream come true.
