“That’s it, Prim. You are doing so well.”
His praise made her shiver and he pushed just more. Sweat run down his back, the sheer effort of holding back torturing him. It was as if it took forever, this unbearable rhythm. But at the same time, it heightened everything, every touch, every breath. every sigh.
One final thrust and Leo was sheathed inside her. Both of them welcomed the sensation with a deep moan.
“So good,” he smoothed her hair.
Leo smiled when he saw in her eyes that the pleasure was greater than pain. His little Miss. P.J. was ready for him. Still, when he moved, it was with languid strokes. He kept the pace slow, savoring every inch, the way her body gripped him, the sounds she made.
But at the same time, his control was unravelling at the seams. The feel of her, the sight of her lost under him on his bed, the smell of their bodies joined. He had wanted this for so long, he had craved to touch her all this time.
His patience lost its measure, his lazy strokes grew deeper, more intense. His hips ground into her faster in a rhythm that became relentless. His lips found her mouth in a sloppy, wet, fierce kiss, and she responded with abandon.
“Leo,” Prim gasped. “I… Oh, again.”
“Prim.” Stilled and demanded her attention. “Is this OK?”
“Don’t stop, don’t stop. Please, don’t stop.”
Leo heard the cord of his restraint snap. Her plea ignited him like the spark on gunpowder. His thrusts became powerful, his forehead on hers, their ragged breaths mixing. One hand travelled down her body and rested on her hip. He gripped her and held her while he plunged into her.
“Oh. oh, Leo. Leo!”
He could feel her climax build again. It was like the wave that swelled in a calm sea rising higher and tighter with each thrust.
“That’s it,” growled against her lips. “Let go, Prim. For me.”
He felt the exact moment the wave crested. A spent cry tore from her throat. She clenched around him in pure ecstasy. To see her like that, magnificent and surrendered to him, that was his undoing.
“Prim!”
His guttural growl echoes in the chamber, perhaps the whole estate. He followed over the edge, drove into her one last time as he reached his climax. For a blissful moment, there was nothing in the world but them, their bodies together.
They stayed intertwined. Leo placed a kiss on her damp temple, a caress to her cheek. Prim looked up to him, bewildered and sated, the afterglow suiting her perfect alabaster skin. Leo had bedded a lot of women in his rakish path. This is the first time he claimed one.
CHAPTER 20
Pearl Diving
Prim woke up with the sun pouring in. She was disoriented and took her a few minutes to realize some irrefutable facts about her situation. First one, she was not in her room, nor in her bed. She would never choose this somber shade of blue for her beddings. Second, she was naked. Totally naked. Memories started flooding her mind. And to refresh her memory more, there was an arm over her waist. One possessive, strong arm.
Everything poured into her mind at once. Did she really go to his study and speak to him like that? And he couldn’t have confessed he wanted her just as badly. Her back against the door, he grinding against her. And for sure, he didn’t carry her to his room, on his bed. His mouth… Oh, his mouth, his lips, his tongue.
Blood rushed to her cheeks as she was flooded with the memory of him filling her, the tinge of pain, the wave of pleasure. And him nuzzling her close, keeping her close, his breath lulling her to sleep.
Now what? Will he be angry at her for his restraint that snapped because she was so audacious? Could things be worse than before? Not just avoiding her but hating her for real?
“I can hear you thinking,” he murmured against her neck.
She jumped up. He propped on one elbow and looked at her with a sleepy smile, looking devastating under the sunlight. The rays gilded down the planes of his chest and fell down his strong body. His hair was tousled, probably because she pulled at it so much. Prim blushed. He looked less like a gentleman and more like a satisfied, dangerous pirate, his blue eyes glinting with mischief.
“Is the morning inspection over?”
“If you don’t want people to stare, you shouldn’t…” she said, vaguely gesturing at him.
His head fell back in laughter.
“I’ll try,” he said before he went serious. “How are you feeling?”
