Willow was moving her body to meet my thrusts, both of us uncoordinated and desperate.
I felt the magic swelling in my body, making my skin feel painfully tight. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to stop thrusting into her. My movements became more aggressive. Willow made eager sounds, and her body jerked and shuddered.
As before, her channel squeezed me, but even harder this time. It was like a fist, grabbing hold, determined to keep me inside her. I couldn’t stop myself any longer. My bellow echoed through the room as my climax exploded inside me. Her screams matched my roar. The power that had been gathering inside of me burst out. Dazzling light filled the room, and my entire body turned to mist.
So did Willow’s!
I gasped as we floated for less than a second, our incorporeal forms twined together. Then we were back. Our placementand positions were the same, as if the moment of mist hadn’t happened.
Intense ecstasy fogged my mind, making it impossible to dwell on what just happened. Intense sensations ricocheted through my body, making me unsure of who I was. If I were human, I’m sure my brain would’ve melted from the extreme pleasure.
Willow collapsed under me, her body going limp. For a brief moment, I thought she’d fainted, but then I heard a breathless laugh.
My skin hurt, much like I thought a sunburn would feel, if I could be sunburned. I ignored whatever the magic had done and focused on Willow.
“Damn,” she said, her words barely audible.
“Damn good?” I asked, urging her to roll over so I could see her face.
Clumsily, she moved onto her back and looked up at me with a lazy grin. “Yes, you’re damn good.”
“We can do that again,” I said. I was eager to experience the same rapture again, but even more, I wanted to hear Willow’s cries and feel her tremble.
With half-closed eyes, she patted the bed next to her. “Later. Right now, I want snuggles and sleep.”
I laid down next to her, and she was quick to curl up against me. After pressing her front against my side, she threw one leg over my thighs and an arm over my chest.
This position made me feel claimed. I loved it.
“Was it just me or were we not solid for a second at the end?” she asked.
“I don’t know,” I admitted. “I’m not entirely sure what happened.”
She gave a sleepy chuckle and nuzzled her face into my chest. “If we keep this up, we’ll figure it out eventually."
“Yes!” I agreed, probably with a little too much enthusiasm.
She patted my chest, then wiggled a little. Sitting up, she fished around under her.
“Is there something wrong?” I asked, sitting up also.
“Ah, got it!” she said, lifting her hand with something held between her first finger and thumb. “This was digging into my hip.”
She held it up to the light to reveal a large, square-cut ruby.
I winced. “I’m sorry, I must’ve missed that when I was gathering up the jewels.”
“It’s beautiful,” she murmured and pulled it away when I reached for it. “I want this one.”
“They’re all yours,” I reminded her.
“I don’t want the other ones, I want this one,” she said, wrapping her fist around it and holding it close to her heart. “I don’t think you left it behind. I think we created it out of thin air.”
I’d never argue with an idea so poetic. “I agree. But perhaps we should put it on the nightstand for the night.”
She frowned and shook her head. “Too far away.” She shuffled around a little and tucked it under her pillow.
“There, that’s perfect,” she declared before flopping back down. Using my magic, I extinguished all the lights before lying back down.
