“Later.” Zin nodded again, and with a snap, he disappeared.
“Zander Tal Lin!”Daren called again.
I sighed. I needed to get this over with. I snapped my fingers, and my clothes instantly changed. Instead of cotton clothes, I was now in jeans and a nice shirt. I closed my eyes and immediately traveled in the light.
“Zander, where the hell have you been? I’ve been calling for you all week. What the fuck?’ Daren yelled.
I opened my eyes, and Daren’s familiar handsome face was contorted with rage. We weren’t at his apartment. I scanned the area. It was a fancy space with ornate red couches, dark wood tables, and golden lamps. His friends and vampires I didn’t know stood around or sat on the couches, staring daggers at me.
A rough hand grabbed my shoulder and spun me around. Daren bent low, his face in front of mine. His normally black eyes were now vibrant red, and the hand that was holding me dug into my skin. It took me a moment to realize he had broken my flesh with his talon. Snarls and hisses filled the room.
“What are you doing?” I asked, fear filling me.
“You weren’t supposed to leave. You were supposed to be with me,” Daren said.
“I’m sorry. I know I should have talked to you,” I said.
“You embarrassed me. I was going to introduce you to my friends,” he said, waving his hand to two of the vampires I didn’t know.
The men were different from other vampires I had met. Their aura was as dark and sinister as an Unseelie. They had hulking frames and ebony hair. Their eyes were as black as night. I shivered. I didn’t know why Daren would hang around them.
“How dare you disrespect me? What do you have to say in your defense?”
I stood as tall as I could and steeled my spine. “I needed to go. I met my spark.”
“What? You are my pet!”
Daren growled and lunged forward. I yelled in pain as his fangs pierced my neck. Another set of fangs and more talons grabbed me. Desperation surged through me as I attempted to summon my magic. But every spell was cut short by another piercing bite, each one drawing away not just my blood but my very essence.
With each bite, I felt a part of me being ripped away, the once vibrant magic within me now a dimming ember.
One of the vampires pulled back and licked his dripping fang. “The taste... it's like nothing I've ever had—fucking delicious.”
“His magic enhances his blood; it’s amazing,” another stated.
Trying to rally my dwindling strength, I gasped out, “Zi...” hoping to summon my brother. But they were bleeding me dry, every ounce of power and life being siphoned away.
Darkness edged my vision, and a cold numbness spread through my body. Every memory, every regret flitted through my mind, but one thought pierced through the most - Colin.
I wished I acted differently with him. I wished I’d given him a chance. Now, I was dying, and there was nothing I could do.
I’m sorry, Colin.
Chapter Seven
Colin
"Ohfuck!"Iopenedmy eyes with a start.
"Is that a good, oh fuck?" Reggie asked with a chuckle.
I glanced down just in time to see him envelop my hard cock in his sweet mouth. "Oh fuck," I said again and threw my head back on the pillow.
Having Reggie give me a morning blow job was a perfect way to be woken up. We didn't get to use the condoms I'd purchased. After dinner, we talked and fell asleep in each other's arms.
I arched off the bed and groaned the deeper he took me. His hand guided his movement as he slid up and down, giving me one of the best blowjobs I'd ever received.
I placed my hands on his head, and he moaned in approval. I grasped his hair and slowly moved my hips. He moaned again and began to massage my balls as I fucked his mouth. I glanced down as I gained a rhythm, and Reggie had freed his cock from his tighty whities. He was stroking his shaft in tandem with my thrusts.
