I told her. She smiles and the merchant returns with the jewelry, and I take it from him and nod. We start to head to where everyone is, and we see the girls laughing at Liam who seems to have taken a big bite of a frozen cheesecake and is now suffering from brain freeze.
We join them and continue on our day at the festival. The entire time I can’t stop watching Lillian as she is the center of attention with her gown and crown.

We start to head back up to the front to leave, the girls go back to the tent and return their outfits and walk over to us. We are waiting for them with their helmets, I see Lilly and smile, I hand her the helmet but before she puts it on, I pull her in closer and kiss her.

She looks at me and I can tell she smiles because her cheeks get puffy.

She says and everyone cheers. We start to head out and I feel Lillian Grab my waist. I smirk and speed up. We get to the SaltLick because Noah wouldn’t shut up about Barbeque.
We place our orders and sit down, I pull Lillian close to me, and she rests into me. The night goes on with drinking and laughter. When was the last time we laughed like this? Since we were young, we have been trained to be a stone wall. We were trained not to let our guards down. I look at Lilly and she laughs with the girls, and I look over at Liam and he’s staring at me and shakes his head. I know what he's thinking but I can’t let her go.
We start to head out, but I pull Lillian to the side before we leave.
“Hey guys, you go on ahead I wanna take Lilly somewhere,”
I tell them and the boy’s nod. I grabbed Lillian's hand, and we walked a trail until we hit a clearing. We go into the clearing where the moon shines down on us and I look at her, God she is beautiful the way the moon shines on her hair, it reminds me of that night I first saw her. She smiles at me and finally notices the lake I brought her too.
