"Go to hell," I snarled, trying to push him away, but he only chuckled, his grip on me tightening.

"Ah, Erica, you have no idea how much I enjoy this game of ours." His fingers traced along my arm, sending shivers down my spine despite my best efforts to resist him. "But it won't last forever. Sooner or later, you'll give in to what your body craves." A predatory grin spread across Jasper's face as he closed the distance between us, pinning me against the cold wall. I tried to free myself, but my efforts were futile in the face of his overwhelming strength. His lips crashed onto mine with a force that stole my breath away. His tongue invaded my mouth, demanding submission. I attempted to push him away, but he gripped my wrists and held them above my head, rendering me powerless.

"Stop it," I growled, struggling to resist the wave of lust that washed over me. But as our lips continued to dance in a battle for dominance, I found myself reciprocating his passionate kiss. The sensation of his tongue in my mouth sent shivers down my spine, and I couldn't help but let out a soft moan.

"Ah, there it is," he whispered, breaking the kiss to trail his lips along my neck. His hardness pressed against my crotch, demanding attention. My body betrayed me, responding to his touch with a moan that slipped past my lips. "You can't deny what you're feeling, Erica."

"Fuck you," I hissed, even as my inner thighs dampened with desire. He chuckled, planting another searing kiss on my neck before pulling back to meet my gaze.

"You will submit to me, Erica," he murmured, the intensity of his blue eyes sending a shiver down my spine. "I'll have you begging for me to fuck you."

"Never," I whispered, my voice trembling with the weight of my defiance. "I will never be yours, Jasper. No matter what twisted fantasies you have in that sick mind of yours." He leaned closer, his lips brushing against my ear as he said,

"We'll see about that, my dear."

Jasper moved away suddenly, a wicked grin on his face as I struggled for breath. My chest heaved, my heart pounding with a mixture of shame and arousal. The lust that coursed through me felt wrong, like some dark poison seeping into my very soul. But I couldn't deny the heat that still smouldered between us. He sauntered to the sofa, sitting down with the air of a king surveying his kingdom. He patted the seat beside him, his grin widening when I refused to budge.

"Come, sit down," he ordered, his voice dripping with temptation. "If you don't, I'll come get you. And if I do, it'll be the bed we're heading to next." My gaze flickered to the bed, a wave of shame washing over me as the image of our bodies tangled together, Jasper's fingers digging into my hips as he thrust into me, filled my mind. I shivered, feeling a flood of conflicting emotions, anger at his manipulation, need for the pleasure his touch promised, and shame at my own treacherous desires.

With a gasp, I forced myself to move, quickly crossing the room to sit at the far end of the sofa. Jasper watched me with amusement, his eyes never leaving my body as if he could see straight through my clothes.

"Good girl," Jasper purred, making my skin crawl with his condescension. As soon as I sat down, he rose from his seat and moved to the middle of the sofa, positioning himself uncomfortably close to me. The heat radiating from his body was almost unbearable, and I couldn't help but glance down at my hands in shame. What the hell was happening to me?

"Feeling a bit flustered, are we?" Jasper teased, running a finger down my arm. I shivered involuntarily at his touch, cursing myself for my reaction.

"Leave me alone," I muttered, doing my best to sound defiant, but my voice betrayed me, shaking ever so slightly.

"Erica," he said gently, leaning closer until I could feel his breath on my ear. "I know our mating will happen, whether you want it to or not." My heart clenched at his words, but I refused to let him see how much they affected me.

"Never," I whispered fiercely, clenching my fists in determination.

"Never say never," he replied with a smirk. "But in the interest of moving things along, I'm prepared to give you a wedding present."

"Wedding present?" I snorted, rolling my eyes. "You're out of your mind if you think I'll ever marry you."

"Ah, but you will," he insisted, his confidence infuriating me even more. "And when you do, I promise you this: the Silver Stone pack will be safe under my protection."

"Your protection?" I scoffed. "Why would I trust you with anything, especially after everything you've done?"

"Because deep down, you know that I'm capable of protecting what's mine," he said softly, his eyes locked on mine. “And whether you like it or not, you're mine.”

Jasper's finger trailed down my arm, leaving a trail of goosebumps in its wake. The very touch made me shiver, and I hated myself for it. He leaned in closer, his breath hot against my ear as he whispered,

"You know, Erica, we can't fight fate. Sooner or later, you'll be mine."

"Go to hell," I spat, clenching my fists in an attempt to suppress the unwanted feelings he stirred within me.

"Maybe someday," he replied with a grin. "But for now, I'll settle for having you by my side."

"Keep dreaming," I said through gritted teeth, forcing myself to look away from him. But even as I turned my gaze toward the window, I couldn't help but feel the weight of his presence beside me, the pull of his body like a magnetic force that threatened to drag me under.

"Alright then," Jasper said, smirking at me as though he knew exactly what was going on in my mind. "Did you know that the Silver Stone pack's days are numbered? Liam's thirtieth birthday is fast approaching, and I have no intention of letting you go. The curse will come into effect."

"Curse?" I scoffed, feeling my anger rise once more. "What the hell are you talking about?" Jasper looked genuinely shocked that I was confused, then laughed out loud.

"You mean Liam hasn't told you? Or is your entire relationship built on lies?"

"Shut up!" My heart pounded in my chest as I tried to process Jasper's words. Was he telling the truth, or just trying to mess with me?
