Her true power's asleep, bound by invisible chains.

For the key to her strength, the heart's true desire,

Lies in a bond, set passionately on fire.

Born of two worlds, she's a hybrid so rare,

Destined to change fates, with power to bear.

She'll encounter a man, from realms dark or light,

His submission to her, sets their spirits alight.

For in their union, the scales shall tip,

Balancing power, in a tight-knit grip.

If he’s born of the light, the world finds its peace,

If of darkness, then shadows may never cease.

But remember this well, for as stories unfold,

The key to their fate, in their hands, they do hold.

Butterflies emerge, symbols of transformation,

Guiding their journey, without hesitation.

Balance is crucial, for the stakes are so high,

The gods watching closely with a vigilant eye.

So, heed this prophecy, for as legends declare,

Love and choice rule over despair, with Diana's care.”

"Damn," I muttered, my heart pounding in my chest. The words resonated within me, and I couldn't shake the feeling that they were speaking directly to me, to my very soul.

"See?" Audrey said excitedly. "This could be about Erica. It all fits."

"But how?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper. "How can she be the key to all of this? She's just... Erica."

"Because she's special," Audrey replied, her eyes locked onto mine, unwavering in her conviction. "And you know that better than anyone, Liam."

My mind reeled as I tried to comprehend the words of the prophecy. Audrey's excitement was infectious, but I couldn't shake the unease that settled in my chest. The weight of it all threatened to suffocate me.

“But Erica isn’t a witch,” Damon said, “Her parents were both werewolves, and Gamma rank at that.” I grimaced and shook my head.

“Actually,” I said and both Audrey and Damon looked at me. “Erica’s mum was a witch. She did a spell to hide herself as a werewolf to protect their pack from some danger.”

“How do you know this?” Damon asked, and I told him about the journey that my father and I had taken to Erica’s old pack. They had been sparse with the details but told us enough about Erica’s heritage to explain why she was an alpha rank.

"Look," Audrey insisted, pointing at a part of the spell that said 'a priestess concealed.' "Erica's mother was a witch, hiding amongst werewolves. Everything fits." Damon ran a hand through his dark hair, his brow furrowed.

"And Erica's eyes... they're pale gold, like an Alpha's." Audrey clapped her hands together, grinning from ear to ear.

"Exactly! It's proof, Liam. Erica is the child of The Key Stone Prophecy."
