I grabbed a beer from the refrigerator, then sat down in the open seat. “Not too much. I think I’m going to ride up to Charlotte to check outClub Obsession.”

It’s A Party . . .

Club Obsession

We’d been at the club for a little over an hour. It was a nice laid-back spot on Sundays to chill at. If I came to Charlotte to party, it was here or atClub Lit.

All day I had been stalking my sister’s IG stories. P’Nee was getting her fucking life. You would have thought that she never went out before. Wherever they went for brunch had a DJ that played all of that twerk music that the girls loved. Miss Principal was twerking in those people’s establishment like she wasn’t the shepherd of our future’s bright minds. All that ass bouncing was a direct contradiction to the responsibilities that she had as a principal.

“There they go,” Joshua announced after he pointed toward the door. Our section faced the door. My eyes had been on the door the entire night, waiting for P’Nee’s fine ass.

It was no secret that P’Nee had a crush on me when we were younger. What was a secret was the crush I had on her. She was only two years younger than me, which wasn’t shit as a grown-up. When you were a teenager, though, two years might as well had been ten years. Over the years, I thought about her from time to time. It was closer to the time when she initially stopped coming around and when her grandma died.

“P’Nee got me fucked up.” Joshua’s mumble pulled me out of my thoughts. “She’s out here looking like one of these basic females when she’s got degrees and runs a whole school.”

My eyes followed her as she walked between Bethany and Jojo to what appeared to be a section they must have reserved. P’Nee wore a pair of black leather shorts that had her ass sitting right. Her smooth legs led down to a pair of black leather boots that stopped at her thick thighs. The long sleeve turtleneck crop top that she wore exposed her shoulders and stomach. I loved that she wore her hair in curls, and the fitted NY baseball cap she wore brought the whole sexy outfit together.

Without thought, I said, “She looks far from basic, my boy. Sexy is a better fuckin’ word. Damn.”

“I don’t want to hear all that shit, bro. I’m about to tell them to come over here since they only got that lil ass table,” Joshua said before he got up and moved their way.

I tittered lowly when P’Nee and Bethany rolled their eyes at the sight of Joshua. Yeah, this pop-up was a surprise, and they looked surprised. When I told Joshua that I planned to come through, I knew he would be with the shits because Jojo would be here. He had wanted her for years, and she had curved him at every turn.

A few minutes later, the ladies made their way over to our section. My eyes didn’t deviate from P’Nee. Her hips swayed as she walked. When her eyes caught mine, I didn’t break my trance.

I had never been a nigga that was shy about what I wanted. I felt comfortable being bold about my want because I had familiarity with what I wanted. No matter how many years passed, she was still P’Nee, my best friend’s sister. I knew her as the teenager, but I wanted to know her as the woman. If she was a chick that I had just met, I would have taken a more cautious approach. It took me less than a few hours for me to know if I wanted to really fuck with a female on just a fuck type of situation or something more serious.

“Hey, Bolt. How are you doing tonight?” she asked once she was in front of me. Her perfume took over the conversation.

I stood up to tower over her sexy ass. It did something to me when a woman looked up to me. I leaned down a little to put my lips near her ear. “You smell good. What you wearing?”

She shuffled on her feet. “Um, it’s this scent calledHappily Ever Afterby Demosea. It’s my favorite scent.”

My nose went to her neck, and I took a deep inhale. I pulled my face back a little to speak. “It smells good as fuck. Happily Ever After, huh?” I stood to my full height to focus on her eyes. “That sound like something to want with the right person.”

She crossed her arms over herself before she tilted her head. “Boltin Abloy, are you flirting with me?” When I gave her a knowing smirk, she shook her head, then stepped closer to me. “Bolt, you might not want to do that because I will fuck you.”

My eyes bucked out while my head bucked.Oh shit!I wasn’t sure if I was ready for this P’Nee.

“Girl,we’re about to get in this club and show our asses,” Bethany said. She glanced at me where I sat next to her in the Uber. “Now you see why I don’t go out in Clover. I need to go somewhere that I can show my ass and be comfortable in church on Sunday knowing that no one saw me the night before.”

Jojo and I chortled. “Bethany, not you wanting to sin in peace. I’m happy you asked me out and I accepted,” I admitted. “I can’t remember the last time that I had this much fun.”

Jojo wiggled in her seat on the other side of me. “Shit, from the way your ass was twerking at brunch, you needed this fun and possibly some dick. Those niggas were salivating over your thick ass.”

I laughed because her ass was right on both accounts. The last dick that I had was two weeks before I made the move here. My ex-boyfriend turned sneaky link gave me some goodbye dick. We were together for two and a half years before I realized that I didn’t want forever with him. My realization made him realize that he felt the same way. We stayed friends and fuck buddies. It was a harmonious arrangement.

“Shit, I could use some dick. I can’t even lie about it,” I told her. “Charlotte is a good a place as any to get some.”

Bethany’s cheeks rose. “Dr. Anderson is out here on her freak shit. I love it! I know you need several breaks after dealing with those bad ass kids all week.”

I gasped and clutched my gold chains. “My babies are not bad. I lead some of the brightest minds.”

“I’m not negating that shit. Their asses are still bad like any other high school student. The difference is that your bright minds are more clever than the dumb ass kids elsewhere,” Bethany said with a turned-up lip. “Don’t think Benji doesn’t tell me about those kids atHOE.”

My soul cringed at the stupid nickname that the kids and others insisted on calling the high school. I put my finger up. “That is not what we will do. The name of my institution isHeritage of Excellence, not hoe. Put some respect on my school of excellence.”

We all laughed as we pulled up to the club’s curb. This was my first time partying in Charlotte. I had an active life when I lived in Augusta. I didn’t really hang out with too many females, but I had a few lounge friends. Those were the friends that you meet at the club or lounge, partied and drank with, then carried your ass home until the next time. They didn’t have your number, and you didn’t have theirs.
