Tossing her on the bar, I pull her toward the edge, lining my cock up to drive into her once more. “Fuck, you feel so damn good.”

Leaning back on the bar, her beautiful breasts are pressed into her shirt. Reaching up I slide her shirt up to display them to me. I cup each one and suck her nipple into my mouth. Her legs wrap around my waist pushing me deeper into her pussy and holding a vise grip on my dick.

I move slowly as she holds me in place creating the friction she wants on her clit. “Oh, yes! Yes!” She screams as another orgasm takes over. The way she pulses around my cock sends me over the edge with her. I spill my orgasm into her for the first time without a condom. That thought alone could have me hard again in seconds.

We both ride out our orgasms together.

“Now, let’s go home. And do that again.” She smiles up at me.

“Your wish is my command, babe.” I kiss her forehead and pull her down, finding her pants and handing them to her. Pulling my own up next.

This night couldn’t be any more perfect than it already is.

Shit has officially hit the fan after Cal and I’s night together in the bar. Henry is going into hospice care, and the future of the ranch is in upheaval. We’ve barely seen each other in the last couple of weeks, but not a day goes by that I don’t feel like his number one.

He’s chosen to stay off the volunteer list for firefighting until spring time. He wants to give us time together to get our feet back under us and he’s trying like hell every day. So am I. He deserves to feel as loved as I do.

Today he’s meeting with Gretta to discuss what she wants to do with Henry gone for the day to day operations. He wasn’t doing much before, but Cal and Murray still reported to him each day and he still called the shots.

He promised he’d be home for dinner tonight, so I’m making his favorite pot roast, and it smells so good I’m tempted to sneak a bite before he gets back.

The front door opens and in walks my delectable husband, with socks on his feet. I smile at the sight.

“Welcome home, my love.” I skip across the house to jump into his arms, genuinely happy to see him.

“Hi babe, I missed you today.” His lips smash to mine. “It smells so good in here.”

“I made pot roast for you.” I beam.

“Sounds perfect. Let me shower real quick. I was elbow deep in a cow today.” I scrunch my nose at his visual. “I might have to go out to the barns after dinner. If you want to come with me you might get to meet a new calf.”

“Yes! Is that even a question?”

“I thought you might like that.” He chuckles.

Getting to meet the baby calves as soon as they’re born is really my favorite perk of ranch living. Right next to the baby foals.

While he showers I set the table and plate our dinner. His hands wrap around my middle and he leans on my shoulder, his fresh scent invading my senses.

“It smells and looks amazing, babe.” He kisses my cheek before taking the plates over to the table. “I’m going to be so pissed if that calf comes before I get to eat.”

I chuckle and know he’s telling the truth because he’s not laughing. “Stop. That baby will come when it’s ready to.” I take my seat next to him. “How did the meeting with Gretta go?”

“It went. Sanders called in. He’s having a really rough time with his recovery, but I don’t know what we’re going to do if he doesn’t come back.” He moans after he takes the first bite.

I secretly love that he loves my cooking so much. I view cooking for him as an act of love now, not a chore that has to be done.

“So what is the current plan? What is the future plan?”

“Current plan is that Murray and I keep going with how we’ve been doing things for Henry. Gretta will get a weekly report with us, but we’re basically just going to make the choices that Henry would and anything huge will go by Gretta or we can call Sanders.” He shrugs. “As for the future, Murray and I are hoping he comes home. He was talking about retiring from hockey due to the injury from that game.”

“Oh shit. Really? He’s so young, will—”

I’m cut off by his ringing phone.

“Hey… Yeah…Okay. Be there in twenty.”

“Ready to meet a new baby?” He scoops up his last bite, shoveling it into his mouth.
