Camden looked around. “Furniture?”

“Yes, but what color? You had blue on your tablet but had natural wood in your thoughts. Which would you prefer? Ocean or sand?” I smiled at my One. He was adorable, and I’d give him both if he wanted.

“Can we try blue first?”

I nodded slowly and filled the room with blue nursery furniture. I put a pair of oversized gliding recliners in a matching tan corduroy and a table between them for placing bottles and other things when we were busy feeding him.

Camden’s sharp inhale of breath told me that he was enjoying the choices, which was certainly a point in my direction. “If you want them changed, we can do that.”

Camden looked thoughtful for a moment before he nodded. “It’s a lot of blue. And I love blue, but maybe we should go with natural furniture to offset some of the blue?”

I shrugged, and with a little more magic, I had all of the blue furniture changed to a natural maple wood.

“Oh…it’s sand. Oh, that’s it. Yes, that’s what we needed.” Camden spun around in a slow circle, and when he spotted the chairs, he immediately went to them and sat down. I chuckled when his eyes widened as he rocked backward in it. “I thought they were just recliners.”

“Did you wish for them not to be gliders as well? There is a lever inside there that you can flip to lock the glider in place. Then it is a chair only but will still recline.” I moved to show Camden what I was talking about. When he easily flipped the switch, his chair froze in place. He wiggled a little, then flipped the lever again, and the glider was free-flowing once more.

“Oh, these are nice. And the ability to lock them in place is good for the baby once he starts crawling and pulling up onto things.”

I was in complete agreement. “That was the thought.” I joined Camden and sat in the other glider. I reached to the right side and pulled the lever there, and the footrest opened.

“They recline too?” Camden asked before he started looking for the lever on his right. He found it, and then his chair had the footrest extended as well.

“Yes, and you can push them back as well. They will lie almost completely flat,” I told him before I pushed back into the back of the chair, and it stretched out.

Camden did the same and then sighed. “This is so nice,” he said. “I might have to take a nap in here at some point.”

I knew there were times when he’d become uncomfortable, but he’d not complained about any significant aches and pains. “Is the pregnancy causing you discomfort?” I asked. I set my chair down and stood, moving over to Camden’s other side and looking down at my adorable One.

“No. Nothing beyond the usual kicks and growing pains.” He rubbed his stomach, and although it seemed as if he’d not been pregnant that long, he was due in just over three weeks now. His gestation was so short that we barely had time to get used to him being pregnant before our little guy was going to be here.

“That’s good to know. If you start to have significant pains, you’ll let me know?” I would know anyway. What Camden felt, I did as well.

“I will. But it’s just your tall son stretching and trying to make more room in a small space. Nothing can be done to help that.”

“Unfortunately, no.” I reached down and scooped Camden up into my arms. He laughed, and I smiled as I carried him from the nursery to the hallway.

“Where are we going?” Camden asked as I walked down the stairs. When I was almost to the bottom, I used magic and had us back on the beach, and instead of walking down the bottom two steps at home, it was the two steps that led down from the small lanai that was at the beach cottage. Camden gasped and then wiggled. “Really? We’re back here?”

I kissed him before placing him on his feet in the sand. “We are. There is nobody around. The place isn’t inhabited, and very few know about this island. Those that do would understand and be accepting of your pregnancy. I know having to stay on Treasure Ridge or be super careful when in Timber Valley can become wearing on you, so I thought a quick trip to the island for a few hours would be good for you.”

Camden smiled up at me. When he reached for my cheeks, I leaned down and gave him another kiss. “It’s perfect, and you’re right. It can get to be a bit frustrating because I really want to go somewhere other than work or our place. Not that either is boring or anything.”

“I know what you mean,” I told him. “Would you like to go wading in the water? We could go swimming if you wanted as well.”

Camden looked to his right at the water. It was inviting, there was no mistaking that. The waves were soft and no more than a few inches at the moment. The sun was high in the sky, but it wasn’t overly hot. The place was just inviting and relaxing.

“Honestly, I’d love to just lay out on the beach for a bit. Maybe under an umbrella so the sun isn’t directly on me, baking me? But the sounds of the waves hitting and the slight breeze with the warmth, this is perfect.”

I held out my left hand, indicating that Camden should, at a minimum, look that way. He did, and then he did another shimmy before he started toward the oversized umbrella that was providing shade on the beach blanket. Camden didn’t even hesitate to pull off his t-shirt and then push down his cotton sleep pants. We’d been hanging out at the house today, and he’d not bothered to get dressed this morning when we rolled from bed.

I followed, and when I joined my One, he looked over at me with a huge smile on his face. I held my hand out above him, and he reached for the sunglasses that were in it. “Thank you. You think of everything, don’t you?”

“I try.” I leaned down and kissed Camden. “I love you and want to offer you all of the comforts I can.” I stood and pulled off my own shirt. I raised both eyebrows at my One before I put my thumbs in the waistband of my pants and pushed them down. I quickly stepped out of them and took a step to the side. “I’m going to go for a quick swim. If you need anything, reach out through our bond.”

“I will, but what if what I need is you and…seriously, Maxwell. It’s not fair that you’re such a showeranda grower.”

I chuckled, gave my dick a few quick tugs, and then blew Camden a kiss before I turned and walked down to the water’s edge. I stepped in, enjoying the warm water, and once I was in up to my thighs, I dove in and went for a swim. The ability to have magic certainly helped when it came to providing a face mask and a snorkel. I got a good view of so many tropical fish, and there was a pair of sea turtles swimming near the coral this time.
