“I’ll take you home.”

We all turn around to see Hooke checking his Rolex as if to see how far past his bedtime it is. He is still on East Coast time. He looks tired, but his tone says he feels obligated to be a gentleman.

Jasmine snorts. “No thanks. I’ll take my chances walking the Strip. Alone.” Her cell rings and she sighs before answering. “Hello? Yeah, I’m about to head home. I’ll stop by on the way.” Hanging up, she walks toward the door.

Hooke moves to block her exit. “Booty call?” he asks, arching a brow.

“Who I fuck is none of your business, but no. It was Kink. There’s anissue?—”

“I’ll take you,” he interrupts her. Opening the door, he ushers her out while ignoring her protests.

I don’t even bother to tell anyone good night and storm off to our room. I see Eve’s phone on the bed. She turned it off after she hung up on me. I know because I called her several times, and each one went straight to voicemail.

The shower is running, and I rip open the glass door to see her standing under the spray. “What the fuck was that phone call about?” I demand.

She ignores me, and I reach in, grabbing her arm and yanking her around to face me. “Eve?”

“It sucks being ignored, doesn’t it?”

I wonder how much she had to drink since our phone call because Jasmine threw an entire empty bottle of tequila away. And I know it was just her and Jasmine drinking because Ashtyn is pregnant, and she isn’t that stupid.

“What the hell happened?” I command. “I was only gone for five hours.”

She starts soaping up her naked body, and I watch the way her hands caress her breasts, down her waist and around her hips. The suds cascade over her thighs, and my cock hardens at the thought of shoving her to her knees and fucking her mouth until I come all over her face.

“Eve?” I grind out. Between whatever shit Ashtyn is trying to pull and Eve ignoring me, my irritated mood has gone sour quickly.

She finishes rinsing, turns off the water, steps out, and yanks the towel off the hook on the wall. “Well, we decided to watch a movie, and Ashtyn choseTitanicwhile sucking on a cherry sucker like it was someone’s dick. That was my first clue, then she made sure to tell me how much she ‘looooved’ a certain part. I can only imagine why.” She looks me up and down with disgust. “Surely it had to do with all of your dicks. Which means you lied to me.”

Jesus Christ.I run a hand down my face.“I didn’t lie. The movie meant nothing to me.” She asked me a question, and I answered. Plain and simple.

“What do you call it?” she demands.

“The first time we…” I trail off.

“Fucked her,” Eve growls.

“Yes.” I grind my teeth but continue. “I dropped by Saint’s dad’s house, and the three of them were in the media room, and something was playing on the screen.” I wasn’t paying much attention to that. “We…took our turns.” Eve’s eyes narrow on me. “What do you want me to say?” I ask, throwing my arms out to my sides. “The truth or lie?”

“The truth,” she snaps.

“Then don’t get mad at me for it,” I shout. Eve huffs, and I lower my voice. “She wants to piss you off.” The fact that Jasmine was here proves that.

“No. She wants to fuck Haidyn.”

I snort at that. “That’ll never happen.” Not again anyway.

She turns around, leaning her ass against the counter, and crosses herarms over her wet chest. “Tell me that if given the chance, she wouldn’t fuck him.”

I shake my head. “Haidyn would never?—”

“But she would.”

“Why do you care so much?” I wonder. “That’s between Haidyn, his wife, Saint, and his wife.” Haidyn would never step out on Charlotte. No matter what Saint would allow Ashtyn to do with another man. I’m not even sure if Saint would let Ashtyn do it anymore. He was all for letting us use her when he brought her back from Vegas, but we didn’t want her. I’ve always cared for Ashtyn, but I’m not the same man I was back in college. And I still haven’t forgiven her for shooting Saint.

“I don’t trust her.” She huffs. “She blatantly throws herself at him, and I don’t know if Saint sees it or chooses to ignore it, but if Charlotte isn’t going to stick up for herself, I will.”

“What does that mean?” I ask.
