I licked my lips, then stepped back. “You better think about something else, because the way you say you’re possessive over me, I’ll be the same over you.” I winked. “Now, let’s put these robes on before they come in.”

Onyx smirked and shook his head. “Just wait until later.” He walked over to the robes and passed one to me before putting his own on.

Just as I tied the belt on the robe, there was a knock on the door.

“Are you two ready?” Alex asked as she peeked her head in the door.

“Yes, we are,” Onyx responded and grabbed my hand.

Alex pushed the door open. “Follow me.”

Onyx and I followed Alex to another room that had two massage tables in the middle. The lights were low, and multiple candles were scattered around the room. On one side of the room was a small water fountain. The room smelled like lavender. Low music played on a speaker somewhere in the room.

“Make yourselves comfortable, and we’ll be in shortly to get started,” Alex said, then left the room.

Onyx led me over to one of the tables, then helped me disrobe and assisted me onto the table.

“Let me cover you up.” He pulled the sheet over me, then leaned down to kiss me.

“Thank you.” I watched him as he moved to the other table and lay down.

After Onyx got comfortable, he reached for my hand.

“You good?” he asked as his thumb lightly ran over the back of my hand.

“Yes.” It didn’t take long for me to feel relaxed.

Onyx was like a natural relaxant and aphrodisiac for me. Whenever he was around, I was always calm and aroused. It didn’t matter how my day went; if Onyx was around, I was instantly in a better mood.

A minute later, Alex and Ani returned to the room. I thought Onyx would have let go of my hand, but he didn’t. I looked in hisdirection, and his eyes were already on me. He winked, then put his head down as the girls went over the type of massages they would be doing.

I closed my eyes as soon as Alex’s hands touched my back. Every so often, she would ask if I was okay, and I heard Ani ask Onyx the same thing.

Our massages lasted for ninety minutes, then we moved to another room where we got facials, manicures, and pedicures. I didn’t expect all of that, but I sure didn’t complain about it.

“How are you feeling?” Onyx asked as we redressed.

“Like a noodle.” I giggled. “I feel so good and relaxed. I’m ready to get back in bed.” I yawned and stretched. It wasn’t that I was sleepy; I was just calm, and I didn’t want to deal with people.

“How about we go back to the room, order some food, and relax? I thought we would explore a little, but honestly, I’m okay if we just chill for the day. Only if that is okay with you?” I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. “That sounds perfect to me.”

Initially, I thought we would do more stuff outside, too, but I was just okay being with Onyx in any way we could be. I just liked the uninterrupted time.

We left the spa, then headed back up to our room. When we got on the elevator, he checked in with his father and daughter. I sent my folks a message to let them know I was good, but other than that, I didn’t communicate with anyone. Onyx and I kept our phones on do not disturb, but he had his set so that in case of an emergency, his father and Sharon could get through. Only my parents could call me if needed, but they knew I was technically off the grid for the weekend.

Back in the room, we showered, and I wore one of Onyx’s shirts, while he only wore boxers. We ordered food from one ofthe on-site restaurants, then went to sit on the couch to wait for it.

Onyx’s hand rested on my thigh as my head lay on his chest. We had a couple of candles lit, and the television played a movie, but neither of us knew what it was. We spent the time discussing various topics.

“Do you have any worries when it comes to our relationship?” I asked.

“No worries at all. Do you?”

I bit my lower lip, contemplating telling him the things that crossed my mind at times. I could feel his eyes on me, but I didn’t look up.

“Sometimes. It’s not anything you’ve done. Everything is perfect, and I think that scares me. I’ve never been in a relationship where nothing went wrong.”

Onyx lifted my chin, forcing me to look at him.
