It wasn’t long before the doorbell rang, and Biggie hopped up to answer it. Tuesday stood there looking timid dressed in a one piece denim outfit with sandals; her toes, painted a rich white. Wallis, wore aToy Storyshirt, denim shorts and tennis shoes, holding his mothers hand with an action figure in his other hand.

Biggie reached down to pick him up.

“What’s good, man?”

“Daddy,” his small voice said, causing Biggie’s heart to swell. He would never get used to hearing that, but he always wanted to hear it. He had no idea how someone so small could change everything.

Biggie stepped aside and allowed Tuesday to step inside. He bit his bottom lip as he watched her ass jiggle in the outfit she wore as she walked past. She always smelled so damn good. Like something fruity and sweet.

After closing the door, he said, “You can’t speak?”

She turned, and he caught her rolling her eyes.

“Hey, Biggie.”

“Gimme a hug,” he demanded. He didn’t even know why. He wasn’t agimme a hugkinda nigga, but he wanted to feel her in his arms.

To his surprise, she didn’t protest much. She simply sucked her teeth and then walked into his open arm. Wallis looked between them before placing a kiss on Tuesday’s forehead and then kissing Biggie’s chest.

“Mommy, Daddy.”

He grinned at them, and Tuesday giggled.

“That’s right, lil’ man. Are y’all hungry?”

“We haven’t eaten yet. He’s been terrorizing me and my house. I’m glad we could come over here for a bit and he could turn up over here.”

Biggie chuckled and moved toward the stairs. “Let me show y’all something, and then I’ll order us a pepperoni pizza.”

They walked up the stairs, and Biggie ushered them to Wallis’s newSpider-Manthemed room. As soon as they entered, Wallis wiggled in his father’s arms until Biggie let him down. He took off, checking out his room in excitement before opening the toy chest.

“Biggie, you did all this?”

Biggie turned toward Tuesday bouncing his head.

“Of course. That’s my boy, ain’t it?”

Tuesday cocked her head to the side, and Biggie couldn’t help but notice how pretty she was, even with no makeup and a messy bun on the top of her head.

“What did the DNA results say?” she asked smartly.

He chuckled.

“Ain’t shit he can’t have now that it’s confirmed.”

“I’m glad,” she admitted. “He deserves it.”

They looked at Wallis, who happily played with all his toys.

“He’s gon’ get the world fuckin’ with me,” Biggie said, keeping his eyes on his son until he heard Tuesday’s stomach growl. “But let’s feed y’all.”

Pulling out his phone, he ordered some pizzas and settled in to enjoy his day with Tuesday and Wallis.

“You look wore out,” Tuesday teased as Biggie leaned his head back on the couch with his eyes closed.

His eyes popped open. He was really slippin’ because he hadn’t even heard her walk into the living room. She had just gone to put Wallis down for bed after agreeing that he could stay there that night. Because she was somewhat of a helicopter mom, she had decided that she was going to stay in a guest bedroom just to make sure Wallis adjusted okay.

Really, it had more to do with her than Wallis, who seemed to warm right up to Biggie. Tuesday wasn’t sure she was ready to share her time with anyone concerning Wallis.
