I didn’t know whether to joke or be harsh or ignore him. I settled on option four and rocked my hips over him, his still throbbing cock inside me.

He rolled his eyes up and groaned.

That was better.

That did, however, lead to a third round of sex. I’d have to budget more time in the morning if this was how every day was going to start. Luckily, today we’d started early, since I’d been asleep by late afternoon the day before.

Myel dressed, kissed me softly, then vanished in smoke again. I’d have to ask him sometime how he did that. Could I do that? Could everyone do that?

There was so much about magic I didn’t know.

I slipped in for a quick shower, no Rook, thank God, then dressed in my new clothes and packed my things for my first class, which just so happened to beMagic 101. That seemed like a good place to start.

Time to learn some magic!

I opened my door and almost bumped into a woman on the other side.

“Apologies, Mistress Izzy. I am Lo Zora, the roomkeeper for this floor of the residence.”

I had a roomkeeper?

Also… “Lo” was the caste signifier for the lowest folks, like Myel. But she didn’t look like Myel. Zora had pale green skin, the color of granny smith apples. Forest green eyes danced above rounded cheeks. Darker, sage green hair, pulled back into a bun, gave her a somewhat distinguished look. It also revealed ears which were swept back to a short point. She wore a conservative dress of dark brown over a sturdy figure.

I restrained myself from asking what type of fae she was. Hopefully I’d learn all that soon.

“Ah… oh… thank you?”

The woman’s eyes lit up. “It is what I do, I require no thanks.”

“I’m not like the other arrogant pricks here. I appreciate anyone who does work I’m perfectly capable of doing, so thank you, Zora,” I said sincerely.

The woman smiled wide and nodded.

“But I do have to get to class,” I said and snuck around her as she moved to the side. She wheeled her little cart into my room as I headed for the stairs.

A roomkeeper?

Here in thelesserresidence?

I clearly had no clue how this world worked.

Time to find out.

The Primal Studies Hall was just north of the lesser residence. Since I didn’t have far to go, I lingered over a leisurely breakfast in the north hall of the lesser residence before making my way over to the next building. I got to the large auditorium classroom well before class started.

Or so I thought.

I’d thought I was over an hour early, but… nope the room was full, and class looked to have just started.Everyonelooked as I strode in and stopped, stunned at the packed class before me.

Was someone playing a prank on me?

“You!” The vehement shout drew my attention to… Princess Saldrea, who was clearly not happy to see me. Just my luck she’d be in one of my classes. So much for avoiding her.

The big man next to her rose, glaring daggers at me. Right… dragon. As much as it seemed elves were more powerful than dragons in this world, I wasn’t nearly as scared of Saldrea as I was of him. Even if he was a sexy beast of a man.

I looked for the professor. And more bad luck… the professor was the dark-skinned man who’d brought me to this world.

What had been his name?
