Irony often plays a huge part in humor. For example, I find it ironic (humorous) that someone who expects me to credit my recent success to her, is also someone who has gone viral many times for—and also built a brand around—calling out everyone she’s dated. ;)

Some people call it “brand building.” I call it “authenticity.” Not everyone you see is who they say they are, but I do my best to keep it 100 even if the truth isn’t pretty.

She started it. “Friction” is what gets fires going, you know.
Chordstrike Magazine:
“Truth Ain’t Pretty” is a country power ballad that crackles with the kind of electricity found only between two clashing musical powerhouses. Its engaging melody and strong vocal delivery bring listener emotions to the surface, while everyone continues to wonder what exactly happened between Riff Hurleyand Harmony Sonora. Industry insiders remain silent on the matter, stating only that “there was a brief connection, which was promptly severed.” Hurley croons on the new track, “Truth is you’re lookin’ for somethin’ you can’t seem to find … Go ahead, drag my name around, I don’t really mind.” He goes on to describe a woman who is lost and trying to find herself, despite her show of confidence, and finishes with a line that has everyone doing a double take: “Babe, it’s lucky you’re pretty … ‘cause the truth ain’t.”

All we’re hearing is he thinks she’s pretty ¯\_(?)_/¯
The Fame & Infamy Podcast, Episode 87 — “Caught in the Crossfire”
Host:So you and Riff… what’s really going on? What do you think of his latest song and the idea that you’re sort of, you know, missing something in your life?
Harmony:(laughs)Oh boy, that’s a loaded question.
Host:(laughs)
Harmony:Um … What’s really going on? I don’t think either of us is hiding it. Riff and I, we’re both putting it out in the open, what we think, how we feel about each other. We speak in songs and we speak our individual truths.
Host: For sure, for sure.
Harmony:Let’s just say that when I met Riff for the first time, he wasn’t who I thought he was. And I’ll also say, based on that first impression, that I think he’s projecting. If you look closely at the lyrics of “Truth Ain’t Pretty,” you can tell they’re not just what he thinks about me; they’re about his own life too. Like, he knows he’s not being true to himself.
Host:Really? How so?
Harmony:(hesitates)You know what? I don’t really feel the need to talk about him. As far as my life … well, I’m not going to deny it’s tough sometimes, and it’s hard not to get caught up in all the drama and the gossip, or to try to present myself a certain way in response to that. But overall, I’m happy with where I’m at and with the work I’ve done. I am(smiles)… absolutely stellar.
Host:That sounds like a new song.
