“I’m here if you need to figure out how to finance?—”

“I’m good.” I say quickly, pulling my clothes up. “I don’t want your money.”

“Just my body?” He asks as he attempts to kiss me again.

“This was a one-time thing,” I say, licking my lips and trying to avoid staring at his cock.

“Really?”

“We can go back to being enemies.”

“You were never my enemy,” he smirks. “You’ve got a mouth on you though.”

“And what does that mean?”

“It means that I like how it feels when it’s on my cock. Do enemies really give each other blowjobs?” He grabs me around the waist. “And if so, can I get another one?”

“No.” I reach down and stroke his cock. “Sorry, but you already got lucky once today.” I love the way he grunts in response to that. “By the way, I wanted to talk about the Coconut Beach deal. I think I?—”

“Not right now,” he groans as he slams me back against the wall and slips his fingers between my legs and rubs urgently. “Right now, all I want to talk about is how I’m going to make you come again.”

Chapter Eighteen

Jack

“You seem distracted and like something has your mind fully occupied,” Levi glances at me as we chug our beers. “You know I’m headed overseas tomorrow. Are you going to miss me or something?” He teases me, and I just shake my head. The fact of the matter is that I can’t stop thinking about Katherine and the sex we’d had in the office earlier in the week. I’d spent every day waiting and hoping for her to come back for a repeat, but I’d heard nothing from her. And it was pissing me off.

“Of course I’ll miss you when you’re gone,” I laugh too loudly. “Is that what you want to hear, Levi?” I lean back in the booth and look around the bar. “The truth of the matter was that I was just thinking about work and some different projects I have going right now.”

“Oh, the hotel deals?” Levi leans forward, his blue eyes bright. “Any winners so far?”

“I think so. There’s a hotel in a place called Coconut Beach, it’s an island off the coast of Florida, and the numbersare fantastic. I’m almost positive I’ll be signing a contract to purchase the property in the next two weeks or so.”

“Great, that sounds fantastic. Sorry, this is Sebastian calling me. I have to take it. I’ll be right back.”

“I’m not going anywhere.” I take another sip of my IPA, grab my own phone, and decide to text Katherine. It’s almost been a week since I’d had any contact with her, and I was eager to see how she was doing since our passionate lovemaking.

Jack: How’s it going this evening?

Katherine: Who dis?

Jack: Very funny…Katherine, or should I say Dave Chappelle.

Katherine: I wish I was as funny as him and that I had as much money as him.

Jack: I think I have more.

Katherine: Showoff.

Jack: I know! :)

Katherine: Pity you aren’t as funny though.

Jack: Word has it that I’m a better lover.

Katherine: I wouldn’t know. Never slept with him.

Jack: Free tonight?
